  1. Really? it's a tiny surface area, i would make a right mess of it.
  2. Nope nothing like that. Just have a cup thing if it was to be mounted on the dash and a metal bracket for the cup.
  3. I know this may be a silly question but was looking to see how other people have done it and what may the best way. I have a Defi BF Guage, the front dont screw off or anything like that so i was wondering how you actually attach the guage to a pod. So far i've worked out you make a 60mm hole slide the guage in but then what? The gauge will be sitting at a 90degree so how do you get it to stay in there? there is very little surface area which makes contact with the backing material and glueing may look messy and damage the guage if i ever needed to remove it. This is where you say, well all you do is..... ;)
  4. give in yet??? It was the mats after all, they were rolled to fit in that size box. They look Sweet.
  5. ooo... you would win the next time round. but not this box.
  6. Got a text saying another parcel. Mum reckons it's from Japan but i can't think what it would be. Gauges wont be in that shape box and mats wont be either. How exciting. It's going to be something i ordered for my car. Take your guess and i'll report in later once i know :D
  7. Just went for the 9000rpm guage. Thanks guys.
  8. That is a true sleeper with the nice dent and.... stock rims on the rear and some other rims on the front, the rear looks a tad tatty also.
  9. Oh right, when was it started? it was a while ago when i last asked about it.
  10. noway, i've heard that before but thought it was a joke. Is that for real?
  11. Cool, will mention it to Thor. Thanks.
  12. Also the same 300 down the strip. 10.5 1/4
  13. the same 300 vs a Ninja ZX10R http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSeXEjtovzE&feature=user
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5QKp4O6pfo The 300 is a true sleeper. I've done a lil of looking into this video and the race with the M3 raises questions. Apparently the 300 is running full throttle shift and also running RPS Carbon clutch and when the car drops back is apparently down to the clutch being cold and slipping. Others say he has missed a gear. the M3 is a Horse Power Freaks Stage 2 which is big HP not sure how much. The Porche is tunned by http://www.evoms.com/home.asp and pushing 700 hp. Impressive hey.
  15. Cool, the 9000 looks better i think. Took a used engine down to Thor Saturday, so hopefully i may get some summer driving in it. I'm still waiting for parts to arrive though but the majority of it is here. How are you getting on with yours?
  16. They are the Mike Smith manifolds. They are a cast design and look a lil like the stock ones. Cool, they could be brothers lol.
  17. Oh and to add to that, i'm also still deciding if i should keep the stock cam gears to keep the VTC or to go with the Tomie adjustables i have. Not sure what to do on that one still. Z1 have realised uprated VTC cam gears which would be my other option over the adjustables.
  18. Nice... I was going to go for Solid lifters but was told they only worked with the Tomie cams. I had already bought the JWT 500 cams. I'm not sure what bearings are being used yet, left that for Thor to decide.
