  1. puk clutches are very difficult to drive especially in traffic. they are a kinda off and on design clutch which dont allow much slip. in other words keep distance in front of you when in traffic as they are jumpy.

For £1500 you could get a KSPORT 8 pot calliper setup for that. thats what i have going on, what about some second hand calipers? i have mine along with brembo drilled and grooved disks and kelver pads smithys used to sell is it porterfield or something like that, was going to list them on ebay as a kit. But sod paying that kind of money for a stock brake setup, total waste of money.
  3. Quaiffe make the best diff as it is ATB based (cogs) All the rest are clutch type and apparently can lock the wheels up. Race Logic traction control will be the best option for what you are trying to achieve. However i believe a good LSD will give you a tad more grip before the traction control takes the power away.
  4. No thats not a Thor car. I believe CJ's has more bhp than the quoted in the mag. Besides that is with the nos.
  5. Count yourself lucky. I was without mine for over a year. (engine rebuild) Get it mapped and drive it around for 2 months and what happens??? it blows up. It's now in another garage having a new engine built and other misc work doing.

  9. Yeap done all that. pretty much. I was wondering if you could get more out of a car than the quoted bhp figures the turbos manufactures produce.
  10. Ok think i get it. So it's hard to get the quoted bhp the manufacture quotes for the turbos. Lets say you have all the mods and you got very close. Only thing that would push you past the quoted figures would be Nos. Lets say the turbos maxed out on a dyno at 500bhp. would a 100 shot of Nos take me to 600bhp?
  11. Think i didn't word my question very well. What i mean is. Lets say my turbos are rated to make 500bhp between them. Would it be possible to make 600bhp. What i mean is if you have turbos rated at x amount of bhp could your car ever make any more than that bhp? even with the aids of nos or say water meth etc. Reason i ask is because my turbos i have are rated at X amount each and i want to know moving forward if i wanted more bhp would i be able to do it with the turbos i have?

  16. Also have a look at the Dell XPS range. Ok i don't like Dell computers personally, the cheapies you see advertise are just tack but the Dell XPS range was Desigened with gamers in mind
  17. Really?? mmm.... well guess i'll just have to wait n see. Yeap got decats. What about the big bhp boys? assuming they have complete free flowing systems and dumping lots of fuel into their engine. Does the likes of Macs do it? Before mine siezed like i said it done it now n again but i had a very restrictive system.

  20. I have a big Frount Mount. What do you mean engine temp spooling? I guess it could restrict the air into the engine bay. Perhaps a vented nose cone and slam panel may help? vented bonet? maybe fitting some air pipes from the front bumper to help redirect the air into the engine bay or onto the rad. I guess a FMIC would also restrict airflow onto into your rad but once again a vented nose cone may help.

  22. only when it rains? could dampness have any affect? would imagine would only affect the connections unless there is a loose wire. Do all these run off the same fuse in the fuse box? might be worth a look.
  23. Ok this might sound a bit fast n furious and maybe chavvy. What makes a Turbo car pop, back fire and flame? I'm not after spark plug answer or BEE R rev limit thingys. I think a car sounds awesome when it pops. It just adds that tunned sound. Every car my brother has tunned done this but my 300 only does the very odd occasion but when it does it sounds awesome. Both his 200sx and RX7 done it. I believe this is because they are single exit exhaust systems complete free flowing. My previous system was very restrictive. 2 1/4 pipes into a cheap back box and with a H pipe. Would a complete 3" system from the tubs into a 3" pipe then 3" into the rear boxes help? Believe the rear boxes will be Siebring. still twin system but both pipes 3" Members with heavy modded Zeds do they pop and spit flames? I've seen a few Zeds from the States which do.
