  1. you could just remove the rear lights on there own, would take about an hour max i guess and some cash in your pocket and one happy lady :D
  2. I think for now i will just flare the arches for now and not change the offset on the wheels as in the future i will prob get a wide arse kit anyway. The wheels are Blitz Type 03 ignore the blue bit that is just a rim protector in transit. Just curious how much a 22 offset would be sticking out my arches, anyone know?
  3. I was also looking into this as my wheels are too big. Someone suggested http://www.archenemy.co.uk/ to flare the arches, they are very reasonably priced and was very helpful, that reminds me i need to get back to him.
  4. Sorry i cant measure it as it is with the garage waiting to be fitted otherwise i would. have you tried emailing Labree? I would just send them a email asking what the actual opening size is on a 2 1/2" setup. They were very helpful with me. http://www.labreemotorsports.com/contact.html Email address is on there. labmospo@sbcglobal.net
  5. and i thought my turbine was bad haha.
  6. Im from norwich... :D sorry dont have a engine lift though. However have you heard of that garage in Watton where you went a garage bay per the hour and includes all tools? maybe that may be of some help. If you are interested i will try find out who they are.
  7. cool, ok will give that a look. Although wide rear is something i would like to do in the future so perhaps for now just flare the arches and go with a wide arse when i can afford to get it done.
  8. Thats not really a option, the wheels were made to order and very expensive. Flaring them sounds a good option though.
  9. Surely if they think its not worth doing up then they have to class it as a write off so you should get the value of what the entire car was worth before it was done? Just sounds weird.
  10. :D no... i want pics of the prices
  11. thanks.. How was it to fit? Were the corners, curves and the edges any problems?
  12. you have to argue with insurance companies. They are just trying to get away with it.
  13. Any pics of prices?
  14. interesting... have you got the link to the ebay auction? must be still listing them.
  15. group buy on a virtual kit anyone :D
  16. found it.. The rear wheels are 10" which i knew but realised that i went for a 22 offset. The offset means nothing to me. I have no idea how much that is or how it is looking with the wheels fitted.
  17. Hi Paul, Well.. what happened is, i purchased the wheels from the UK supplyer 9's on the front and 10's on the back. I then got a phone call later direct from the manufacture asking what offset i wanted. The tyres are a 295 on the rear, not sure of the profile. Just going through my emails it looks like originally the offset was a 35 but i changed it to a 22 as i remember what happened now, i bought them to go on a wide arch kit so went for the 22 offset.
  18. ooo... i like that. was expecting it to look tacky, really suits the car.
  19. I have no idea what they are. How would i find that out? Its not on my invoice as i got a call while they were being made and they asked then.
  20. I have these. What i did was remove the fogs as it was ideal for air entry for my filters. Then moved the fogs the the large chamber of the crystal indicator and fitted my indicator in the smaller chamber.
  21. Been looking at harnesses recently and i believe that is a harness bar. How it will peform as a roll cage i have no idea, i doubt it will add the same structual integraty
  22. just sent them an email. thanks. They arnt in my area though so fingers crossed.
  23. as its a wider offset i guess this isnt a particuly bad thing? Possible improve the handling?
  24. good idea i like that, will have to wait and see how extreame the wheels stick out.
