uh oh.. wheels stick out the arches, what to do?
What is envolved in fitting the Zcentre wide arch kit? they are £530 + vat with the fuel cap not as much as i expected. I wouldnt tackle this myself but if i was to get a body shop to do it just wonder how much i would be looking at and how long it would take them. Would they cut the rear metal arch out behind or does it go over the top?

uh oh.. wheels stick out the arches, what to do?
Just asked for an update from Thor. going to give me a call back with more details but.. they did say my new wheels are on and they stick out the rear arches allot. Ive not seen it so not sure how bad it is, changing the wheels isnt really a option as they were very expensive and took 6 months to arrive as it is. Sticking out the arches will look silly and possibly illegal. So what are my options? I know Do-Luck make stick on arch extensions but who else make them and different options availible. i cant spent too much money on this e.g. full wide arse kit at the mo as there are far more important things to spent it on. not sure i even like them.

Depends how much you are in a hurry for them as i had the greg dupree (specialty Z) super splits and had to replace them with different ones when changing my turbos. These will be up for sale soon and will also have some decat mid pipes to go with them if needed.

Gutting the Interior (saving weight)
i knew that :p I would suggest a smaller lighter fuel tank but seeing the fuel consumption of a Zed i wouldnt want a smaller tank

Gutting the Interior (saving weight)
oh... what have i started... :D i can see it happening, someone is going to jump on the scales in the buff, no pics thanks haha. rebuilt engines prob weigh less than stock ones down to the forged parts but on the down side i have a big front mount intercooler but to be fair that isnt that heavy and the stock ones are fairly heavy, bigger rad what else have i added bigger turbos mmm... hids  i have removed the horn, well... kinda removed it, fell off over a speed bump.

Harneses in a 2+2
there may be a problem there though as the strut brace is further back than the seat belt points so after it has gone over the rear strut brace would have to come back on its self. not sure on the length either as that is a much longer route.

Harneses in a 2+2
That is a pretty nifty idea, i could take them back to the trut bar then down the back of it bolting into the boot. however the harness may not be long enough.
