  1. I don't mind having to reach for the control so much, it's that fact that it has to do a wipe when you turn the control off (what the logic behind that idea was I can't think), meaning you can't just do a single wipe, it has to do two. If you find a way of disabling the 'off' wipe that would make me a lot happier!
  2. I could just tell you all which is best, if that helped? :D
  3. PhilL, if you don't mind :tt2:
  4. sorry, didn't mean to come across badly, just slightly confused!
  5. No your not! Add me to the list!
  6. We're talking about the 99 inserts here, are we not? As opposed to the standard head light insides, of which the pictures posted have been? Personally I'd colour them 'see through'.... cos I can't quite see the point in 99 inserts... (IMHO)
  7. We've got a drive thru Starbucks in Shrewsbury, opened this last year, it's brilliant I love it!
  8. Funny as it looks fine in the pic. TBH I'm surprised a LWB targa would fit at all
  9. The rear seats are fine! I've sat in them on several occasions and had no problem (guess I should say I'm about 5' 10"). I regularly look at other '4 seat' sports cars though and their rear seats are definitely more cramped than the Zed.
  10. That's what I would have thought, not having studied them particularly! I assume the side shown in your sig is the 'good' side? Because that seems to follow the line nicely.
  11. yeah it looked pretty clean! Take it it must have been your cousin driving it? Is he on here yet?!
  12. yeah, it did. This was the car: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=895
  13. Only saw it in the distance as I was sat outside Starbucks, and it was within seconds of having seen the grey one!
  14. Little REDZED / REDZED! (never made the connection!)
  15. As above, seemed to be generally doing circuits of the Battlefield services (Two Henrys) and the bypass! I'm was pretty sure it was Little REDZED's car, but just looked and I think it's been sold to someone else, but pretty sure that is the car.

Lee, I have to say your car looks pretty nice parked outside your house! The highlight of my drive to and from work now!

couple of them are better than mine at least! and thanks for the compliments :). Yours should be looking pretty tasty when you get those new wheels! ('even more' tasty should I say, you got a bargin there!)

sorry these pictures have come out awfully, must have had really shakey hands, was probably the coke... to be fair the light was pretty dull and my camera is an antique! (dispite the sign we didn't meet at burger king...). Was good to meet you two though :) Simon, the ones you took on your phone can't be any worse if you want to post them up!
  19. Looks spot on in that picture, least once you've straightened the number plate (don't look at my sig)! Look forward to seeing some more pictures. Planning to keep it nice and clean as it is?
  20. Looking very smart! I thought to start with that you'd painted the perspex strip blue... what a relief!
  21. I've got those scratches pretty bad as well, I assumed that some sand/grit must have got down between the rubber and the glass. Car.Mad, hurry up and use it, we're all waiting!
  22. - My current 300zx but restored to as new condition - all original Mk1 mini cooper - original mini with a stupidly powerful non A-series engine transplant - original mini with a highly tuned A-series engine - red Italian Job mini replica - white Italian Job mini replica - blue Italian Job mini replica - Austin Healey 3000 - the Austin Healey that looks like an MG midget (was on Top Gear a little while ago) - older TVR (don't know the models, but the older ones sound nicer!) - Lamborgini murcielago - Ferrari 355 - Ferrari 550 - Volvo 850 R estate sure there are others that I can't think of just now!

hollandrob81, just realised in your other thread I mentioned this meet specifically to Lee300zx but not yourself, sorry about that, I think subconsiously I thought Stoke was quite near but Wrexham wasn't for some reason, but they must be a similar distance in reality. Will be great if you can make it!
  24. I'd be potentially interested in a North Wales meet! Lee300zx, few of us are hoping to meet in Shrewsbury tomorrow, of you're interested, or anyone else for that matter! - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=142169
  25. Mine didn't work when I bought my car. Zedworld said they'd sort them as a bit of a favour while they were doing some other stuff to the car, but I think they regretted saying it as apparently it was a right faff of a job to get to! In my case it turned out to be the motor that was the problem. Do your wipers go when you press the button? As mine did but just nothing from the washers. I don't think I've actually ever used them genuinely since getting them working, I just hate the thought of things not working that should!
