  1. Sorry to hear this Paul. Bloke must be a complete retard who can't hold a normal conversation. Why couldn't he just state what his problem was, no point offering sensless threats. I hope it wasn't anyone from on here. Chris P
  2. Sorry I couldn't be of more help mate .. but I have never had that problem .. Hope you get it sorted for your mate.
  3. Good for you mate .. always good to help out a friend ... do a search on heater matrix .. loads of posts on it ...
  4. I haven't done it yet .. (touch wood) but the posts I have read it is a complete PITA I believe it can be done without removing the whole dash but probaply easier if you do ...
  5. FFS ... have a good evening mate ... Try not to let it get you down. All the best Lots of pints are in order .. Chris
  6. A few mate ... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=40079 You must keep up :slap: :D
  7. more here ... http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~fp3k-htt/lamborghini_us.htm
  8. Cheers Danny ... I will have to give it a really good look over. Would prefer to feed from the boot down if possible rather from the numberplate. I thought there would be a way of getting down there somehow. Thanks Chris
  9. Mine uses the inner brake light conversion as well and is wired up to a rocker swith on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.
  10. I had problems with my lights circuit blowing a fuse when I turned on my inner brake light conversion and it turned out to be wires going to the side markers that were run over the top of the exhausts  that were shorting out the circuit  Anyway, I got rid of that shit job someone did and I now need to know the best way to feed the wires down to the side markers. I had a look down the sides from the boot but couldn't see a way to get down to them. What is the best way? Surely you dont have to run the wires on the outside and underneath the back bumper? Ta Chris P
  11. No worries mate .. give the rad a good flush once you have drained the coolant. Get all the crap out of it as it could be something silly like that blocking it up.
  12. If you have recently changed your coolant, then it could be as simple as an air lock in the system. Don't know if you have though. If you have did you put the correct ratio of antifreeze / water? Sure Andy could be much better help than me on this.
  13. If you can see the fluid level nicely in the radiator you can remove the cap and start the engine. Once it gets to operating temp you may be able to see the water circulating in the rad filler cap area. If you can see it recirculating, then it probably isn't your water pump. It could be a failed thermostat that has stuck closed (don't know if escorts have a fail safe thermo or not) or it could be partially open but not enough to allow efficient cooling. I am no expert on this and I am sure someone with a bit more technical knowledge would be able to help much better .. just trying to help out a bit mate.
  14. Worth checking the water pump mate. I guess you have checked for leaks etc. Is the fan coming on? and have you checked that the coolant is recirculating? Sorry I can't be more help.
  15. This will be my next mod ... excellent link Mickey, haven't seen that one before Cheers Chris P
  16. Well I agree with the dumbass people driving around with them on all the time that is for sure. I think they are useful on the motorways when there is fog present especially since everyone like to speed up in fog (for some bizzare death wish reason). Do you remember the crash on the M40 early morning due to fog? I nearly got caught up in that... fookin scary. I think they are useful and can help to reduce accidents in really bad weather conditions. IMO
  17. Still fits in OK though. I fitted it in with no probs at all. If I had had problems I wouldn't have recommended the battery.
  18. Well.... Hcc005 - 585 Cca fitted my Jap spec perfectly mate. From Halfords.
  19. Cheers Martin .. I have this problem as well. I will be using this to fix it up properly.
  20. Yep .. that is what I meant LOL .. not illuminated all the time .. :D
  21. Mine has the inner brake light conversion and it passed its MOT with no problems. Paul C would be able to help further, I am 99% sure that the switch does have to be on the dash and it has to be illuminated. If you do a search then there is lots of information on this subject. Chris P
  22. Hmmm. Converting the inner brake lights is MOT compliant and as far as I am aware the switch for the fog lights has to be visible and illuminated, Not sure about the colour though, mine is RED
  23. Nice one mate and glad you posted this one ... fookin :xxx:
