  2. I did notice one thing. The overflow resevoir was very dry. Nothing at all really. Could it be a faulty rad cap? Any ideas on this would be appreciated. Cheers

  8. Don't suppose some nice person has a Conzult available that lives fairly close to me? I am in East Sussex about 10 miles from Tunbridge Wells. Cheers Chris P
  9. Had a mess about again on Sunday. Went for a twenty minute drive to see how the gauge performed. Slowly climbed to about 175 which was good. Quite happy with that, then I stoppped for some petrol and when I switched back on it was reading about 200. Anyways went home and the temp went up to about 208. The stock gauge as usual stayed at just under the halfway mark  Let the car cool down to about 175 and checked to see if any air was in the system, NO air. Raditor was hot on both sides and the water pipes were hot. Not sure what to check out next TBH Anyone got any ideas? Chris P

If IRC there ar four screws to take off as you stated. Two at the top which are hidden by two small plastic covers. The other two are hidden behind the long plastic strip that pulls off. That should be it mate. It should just pull out now but be careful as it does bend quite a bit. I found it easier to pull from the top as it is still held in by metal clips. Ohhh and watch out for the clock connection at the bottom. You don't want to damage that. Chris P
  11. Yea .. I am having a problem mate. Well I think so anyways. I fiited the pipe and gauge but I am a bit concerned with the reading. I drive my car regularly and it never ever overheats. I often drive 190 miles up to Kidderminster and the stock gauge always stays at just under half way. Since installing the new gauge it read 210 fht so I was a bit concerned. The stock gauge reads the same as usual. No air locks, heater still works fine.... bit worried TBH .... The engine is fine .. no steam .. coolant is fine .... Thats why I wondered about calibration ..... and No leaks .. everything is as it should be, but the temp registeres much too high unless I am missing something here .. hence calibration ....
  12. Complete TWAT ... Nuff said ...
  13. LMFAO .. Must have been the toy shark that pushed it ....
  14. Unfortunately my sensor got lost before I got the gauge so am using a generic sensor. That's why I need confirmation.
  15. Can anyone tell me if the AC gauges from Chris's group buy are calibrated to the sensor that came with it? I thought they would have been but have been assured that they will work correctly with any sensor. Cheers Chris P
  16. Jaz ... can you PM me with the details of costs from Luke mate .... I just love this front ... It is the best I have ever seen ..... beats all the others hands down ... IMO
  17. I think a FMIC sets the whole thing off .. looks even better .... I'm talking about Jaz's front here .. fantasic looking .... going by the PSP file we saw earlier in the year from the German site ... I looove that look ...
  18. Yep .. tis my favourite of them all. Where the fook do the front indicators go though? .. or am I going blind or summat. Chris P

  21. Get someone to have a look at the maps first. I had a similar chip in my Zed and when we looked at the maps it turned out to be very aggresive so I changed it for another chip. Better to be safe than sorry IMHO
