  1. You do crosswords Dave? ... that is a very good cryptic clue ... Hope you get things sorted mate.
  2. It's probably the way the chip was fitted .... It's v easy to damage the ecu fitting it.
  3. Well on the first point .. looks like you have a aftermarket filter installed. When I first looked at mine it had an older ARC filter box installed and I replaced it with a blitz SUS. And on the last point, it isn's standard to have 300zx light up. It is a mod you can do and I have it in mine but it doesn't come as standard.
  4. Sorry about your trouble mate ... Should have went to Dixons :-)

TBH it has gutted me as well. He has helped to shape the world of music and it is a great loss. Did you know he was also a insulin dependent diabetic? .. They don't tend to have long and fullfilling lives.
  6. I enjoyed reading this. Nice 1.
  7. Yep ... quite drivable with the bypass. Then when you have the dosh you can sort it out.
  8. probably would be a lot easier mate. I haven't done this as yet and I am defo not looking forward to doing it (if the worst happens). I would probably bypass the pipes and take it to you. LOL
  9. I forgot to say. If it is an auto you can use the above method but if it is a manual then I think you do have to remove the dash.
  10. This may be of help. Good luck with it. http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/heater/heatercore.htm This one is without removing the dash.

I can't belive you are having trouble finding one. Buy one off the forum and you wont go wrong. I could sell my cat for the price of a decent Zed these days. Gutted TBH... And NO my cat isn't for sale ... :-)
  18. M5 .. very nice performance ... http://www.munichlegends.co.uk/ ... Chris P
  19. I would have thought that was your heater matrix mate. Usually comes through the passenger side footwell though. Could be some other pipes I guess. Someone more techie should help out though.
  20. 80 - 85 celcius ... May go up to 90 celcius when you really shift. Well thats what I reckon ... drove my Zed today for two hours .. hard driving and a bit of a rest. My aftermarket gauge is shit as it doesn't have the correct sensor for the gauge. My stock gauge was perfect as usual .... Blew away a MR2 just for a laugh ... GOD I love my Zed. Shame my temp sensor is a load of shit ... Chris P
  21. Harmz was v good .. you Haterz ..... LMAO
  22. 1. No chance .. LMAO .. not until 2005 2. No ... Not with the serious attitude problem .... 'Hi I want to buy your car, got any pics?' reply .. 'No' .. LOL ... As for the others not sure ....
