Does anyone want to see the Dolphins dvd??
Cheers Baz! Received today! Thought I was going to have to use a grenade to get through all the sellotape, then after a bit of slashing, realised it must be the original envelope still making it's way around as well! :D I don't think it's the original stamp though, but there is at least one more journey left in this one, as it's not been post marked!! Let's see how far around the country the envelope and stamp get, too!!

£205 to tax the Zed!!!!! robbing t***!!!
Yep - I had the reminder at the beginning of this month for £190, checked out this thread and went into a quiet rage when I saw they'd hiked it up another £15! Takes the p!ss - Think I may get into witchcraft and try resurrecting that Guy Fawkes fella - Give him another chance and maybe he'll get it right! :)

Toad Alarms
Back in 2008, I'm pretty sure it was a white van with a set of 18's, maybe 19's on. Last year he had a silver td Astra with 19's on - I think there may have been stickers on them, but just the company name (memory a little hazy when it comes to vans and Astras!) His name is Antony Noto - I was wondering if Daryll may know him!

Toad Alarms
Yeah - I hear he was beaten by Zebedee!!! Cheers for that, Jimmer :) I've spoken to Securicar and they were taken over by Scorpion, so have emailed them - If me no-hearsy by tomorrow lunchtime, I'll give 'em a call and see what they've got to say........By the way, the guy that fitted my alarm is based in Bristol - Specialised Vehicle Security - Seemed decent and did a good job for a good price at the time, but clearly there's something lacking/dodgy about him as he's not very forthcoming with his assistance on this one! Might be something to bear in mind for us local boys...........

Toad Alarms
Cheers Chris! I'll try the club member in Daves link first, but may well take you up on that! Defo! I was a bit bemused, for a short while, as to what their problem was when I sent it! Cheers Dave - as above; will send him a mail :)

Toad Alarms
Yep -You were fooled too, Dave! That's actually Gap Security - If you Google Clifford Alarms too, it comes up with another link which is them! I was actually so p!ssed off with no-one replying to my emails, I sent my alarm to them anyway - As it even says Toad alarms in their address on that link! Had the call from them today, did a few checks on the web and found out the truth - It's just a marketing tool! Thanks for the try, though :)

Toad Alarms
Does anyone know of any contact details for the manufacturer of Toad alarms? Mine has gone up the swanny and I'm having a lot of problems with the company that fitted mine giving me the run-around (apparently the lifetime warranty is supposed to be with the company fitting - Although it is the hardware itself which has failed). When I go on trusty Google, it just comes up with links to fitters (albeit using the Toad name!) rather than a manufacturer! And, to boot, I can't find any of the documents that I must have had with the alarm! Doh!!!

Celica Gt-4
I've got a UK spec st205 and have to say, for an everyday driver, the all-round performance, and costs are hard to match - insurance is cheap, fuel economy is better then the zed, it can be used to it's fullest in any weather etc. BUT, I personally have had a few issues with mine, and in my opinion, it just cannot match the zed for sheer thrills - looks and performance wise! You'll also find the GT4 very flat torque-wise until the turbo kicks in - it's very '16 valvey' in performance - Certainly in comparison to the zed! If you like, I can pm you my number and you can give me a call if you want to have a chat about them!

GT4 firgure of 8s?
The figure of 8's don't actually cost much to buy and are a relatively easy job to do - If you have the kit available to back you up if the ball joints are going to be a pain in the rectal area!! By that I mean you may possibly need access to a hydraulic puller or ball joint splitter - It seems to be more often than not that you will do! Mine didn't, and came apart rather easily with a normal 3 legged puller (a 2-er will doould. The figure of 8's themselves can be bought for about £80 for both side when I last looked. It's the lower arms that I found an absolute nightmare to do - The prices for these have gone up and must be a minimum of £400 for both arms; but the job itself was a pig! Eventually a hydraulic splitter and 10ton ram did the job, but I went through several tools and had to use carbide drill bits to get the job done! Ps. The figure of 8's will only take an hour to do both sides, if the job goes well - and that includes all your jacking and packing up time! HTH, Simon

Black 'R' reg - UWE, Bristol
Fair play, mate! As long as you're happy, that's what's most important :). It was mostly the price they were asking that we found laughable - They were living in complete cloud-cuckoo land asking 8k!! All the best with your zed ownership - I wish you a smooth, and powerful, ride!!

Black 'R' reg - UWE, Bristol
I also remember having a look at a black r reg at a garage Speedwell way, with Rich, a couple of years ago - It was up for about 8 grand, looked like it had been dipped in salt water and had paintwork done by S Wonder bodyworks! I wonder if it could the reappearance of that overpriced monster!!
