Yup - Metal Monkey is endorsed by Sir Jimmer so definitely worth using. Andrew did indeed have a radio bezel for sale. I have one too, but have not yet advertised it. Andrew advertised his first so I shall stand behind him in reserve, should he have sold it by now.

Now that we're supposedly permitted to travel, I have given my Zed a couple of "proper" runs this weekend..... Saturday, we drove to Mudeford in Dorset - it's been a long time since I've seen the sea, so it was worth the 240-ish mile round trip. Sunday we had a nice day out in Bath - another 200 mile round trip. Neither place was overly busy, the sun shone and - best of all - the motorways were quite as well..... Needless to say the Zed got a real work-out and burned a fair bit of fuel in the process...LOL?

The Committee would like to wish all the club's members and their families a VERY HAPPY EASTER!! Stay safe folks......

Whilst I have a UK spec - and tend to use super only in the hotter months, as regular 95ron is fine most of the time - I will be switching to super UL only from September. I don't want to run the risk with E10 fuel, just in case. Like many of us, my Zed is a weekend and holiday car, so spending a few extra £s on super UL is worth it for peace of mind.

Yup - I shall be running the competition once again, so please get yourselves signed up. There is a Halfords voucher on offer for the winner, who will be declared at the end of the season by amassing the most points. Hopefully this year we will have a trophy too; although that will depend on us having the usual batch of trophies made, assuming we hold an annual event in 2021......?

Today - as yesterday - I took mine out for a little spin across the Chilterns and into the Cotswolds....! I will post a couple of pics tomorrow....?

Yup - looks like the same issue I had.....! Even with a brand new OEM boot catch, I still had to bend the lever slightly, so that it didn't keep tripping the circuit every time the boot lid jiggled as I drove over the lumpy roads around here.
