  1. Both mate..... .....remove the belt as, when you use demist, the a/c kicks in so the belt is trying to move a siezed pump. I also believe there is a relay in the fusebox under the bonnet - if so try pulling that out Richard:thumbup1:
  2. .....Anyone going this year? I'm off there tomorrow (Friday) - I managed to convince my mate we should go for better tickets this year (plus I was a bit late in booking so they only had Gold ones left) and we're 6 rows from the front. Can't wait - and even if it's the same as last year it beats sitting at work!!! Richard:biggrin:
  3. Nice pics Vodds...... Richard:thumbup1:
  4. Many happy returns mate! Richard:clap:
  5. Good decision mate!! And rest assured, we're all here to help, advise and occasionally offer councelling as called upon...... Richard:winkiss:
  6. Nice one Daz - Meister-Rs are the nuts mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
  7. Exactly mate - otherwise you'll just have a blow out......:whistling:
  8. Nice - but not my thing TBH. I respect the Skylines for what they are, but would I own one? No! They look far too dated now and they have been done to death IMO; just like a Mk4 Supra....:whistling: Just my opinion though! Richard:winkiss:
  9. The question is then, what year letter did DVLA allocate your car upon first registration in the UK? If, as is normal for a 1992 manufacture, DVLA gave it (say) a J plate; then you cannot legally assign the car with a registration newer than that - eg a J plate - just like Pete says.... Richard:cool3:
  10. Happy birthday Chris - have a great day mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
  11. Many happy returns Paul!! Richard:sorcerer:
  12. Welcome to the club Alistair - and good luck in your hunt for a 300zx mate!! Richard:cool3:
  13. As title really - how about we all get together for a Christmas meet at The Red Lyon....? I know it's only October, but the weeks are flying by right now so we should start to think of some days in December when we can do this!! Richard:sorcerer:
  14. You're allowed to pop a link to the magazine's FB page mate - please do so and it'll be easier for us to go over and "like" it for you..... Richard:cool3:
  15. Whilst I don't condone what the driver did - and let's be honest, most of us at some point have stamped on the loud pedal to lose a tailgater, if that was the sentence the GTR driver received, then I hate to admit I too have similar thoughts to Jap-slapper.... Richard:detective:
  16. I don't know what to say - what makes someone so sick and twisted that they deliberately run down innocent, unkown people? It beggars belief. My thoughts go out to all the victims. Richard:censored:
  17. LOL - true; and not what I was expecting!!! Richard:sorcerer:
  18. Many happy returns mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
  19. Very sorry to see this mate - and I'd be fuming too if that was my car. That's probably what's happening TBH; if it is only your car that gets done and you were parked in the same place each time. What these low-lives don't seem to understand, it that the road is a public highway; and unless you have your own reserved or off-street bay, then it's fair game for anyone to park there. But there are such petty "Little Englanders" who think they have the sole given right to park outside their own house and take their pathetic "revenge" on anyone else who gets there first....:censored: If i still lived in East London, I'd never park on the street; I'd make sure I had a garage. When I visit my folks now, my sister makes space for me on the drive; as they know I hate parking in Leyton.... I'd think carefully about that secure parking area mate - £700 a year seems a lot, but it'll be cheaper than the constant repairs (or the increase in insurance premiums if you ever claim for the damage). Richard:no:
  20. Ouch..... ....it sure was fast; but the first guys who passed the pick-up were not travelling nearly as quickly. That GTR roared past them at a speed way above what was safe for the conditions; not to mention the driver's ability. That is after all why he lost it - and it takes a lot to lose control of a GTR in the first place!!! Richard:scared:
  21. So that's your car mate? Jeez fella, I'm sorry that happened to you....:scared: I reckon your best bet, if you cannot stretch to a Jimmer rebuild, is ti have Jeff pop a known good replacement engine in it for you. Good luck in whatever you decide, Richard:flowers:
  22. Very good advice there..... ....and good to see you're still around Dan! Richard:thumbup1:
  23. hahahahaha.....!!! Brilliant!!! There was a guy my mate worked with called Dick Ramsbottom... Richard:lol:
  24. A belated happy birthday Mike - I hope you had a good day mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
