  1. Hi Greg, I reckon you'd just get away with 225/40 and 245/35.... (Maybe even 255/35) front / rear with 8.5j wheels. As for the makes you suggest, then the Pirellis would be my choice from those; possibly followed by the Yokos. I'd steer clear of the others - even though I have not heard bad things about the Falkens
  2. Hi and welcome Mike....
  3. What Graham says is bang on - a limited company (whether private or public) is there to "limit the liability" of the shareholders; to the extent of the value of their shareholding. All shareholdings must, at some point, become "fully paid" IE the shareholder must physically pay for them. Effectively, they buy the shares, hand over the money (by investing it into the company if they are first subscriber shares; or paying the previous shareholder, from whom they made the purchase). If the company then goes into liquidation, the shareholder loses their investment; but is generally not liable for any of the company's debt. However, if the shares were not paid up at the time of the liquidation, then the shareholder would still have to pay in their investment money; in the event that there are creditors to pay. Hope that helps, Richard
  4. Is this fixed now mate.....? I would have PM'd you, but if it's still not working...... Let us know - as JaiKai is the man to fix it!
  5. Thanks for your continued support JB......
  6. Nice one Ted - thanks for your continued support mate! Richard:cool:
  7. Thanks for your continued support Keith - most appreciated mate! Richard:cool:
  8. LOL - me too..... .....They are my favourite wheel for the 300zx. Shame I cannot seem to find anyone selling them in the UK now:sad: I had a set of 17s on my old red Zed.....
  9. Now you come to mention it Dan, I'm thinking you might be right mate!!!
  10. Or how about these as a budget alternative - they are 18s though.... http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/konig/ssm/black/18-inch-wider-rear
  11. Anything here that you like...... http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/nissan/300-zx/1983-2000/19-inch-wider-rear
  12. Looks like a good show mate - I was thinking about popping along......: .....Thanks for sharing:thumbup:
  13. Looking fantastic Si.... ......But I did love that leather though....
  14. Congratulations Dan - I shall definitely look out for that....
  15. I have to agree - I've got them on the SLK and the Zed.... The Zed's are almost down to the tread wear bars, but they still cling on........ Although the back end was a little wayward on the icy Chiltern roads last Tuesday morning:oops:
  16. I thought I'd bring this up as I might have to eat those words.... ....A friend of mine has a Merc E350cdi Coupe which has been re-mapped to about 312bhp and over 550lb/ft of torque. He has had constant trouble putting the power down; and has tried various tyres including MB fitment Contis and Pirellis. He's just had a set of the new Avon ZZ5s fitted and there's no more spin - just grip and performance!! After my experience with the old Avon ZZ3s on my red Zed, perhaps I was to hasty to condemn the new ZZ5...... .......So based on my mate's recommendation - and the fact they are a steal at £380 for the set - I'm going to give them a try... They're being fitted on Saturday so I'll let you know how I get on. If they are good, I've got a bargain. If not, I can always offload them on Fleabay and go back to the Goodyears:wink:
  17. Hi and welcome to the club Luke.....
  18. Have a good one Craig......
  19. Looking good Dean..... The stock wheels still look good - even if a little small by today's standards. Now if you could get them in 18s......
  20. Very nice mate...... ............Again:bow:
  21. Very nice Dan.....
  22. Took mine on a little trip to the newly re-opened British Motor Museum...... ......Not a bad day out really. Entry (I think) is a bit steep at £14pp - however there's now a new section with timed admission, to see various cars that are not always on display. The old "Leyland" section had some right old shite (think, Princess, Marina, Allegro etc) but also a few interesting Land Rover exhibits. But the Jaguar bit on the ground floor.... ......That was worth the trip itself!! Some nice old classics like an SS100; through to the XJ220. Including the prototype as fitted with the (promised) v12. And then when we returned home, I decided to give the Zed a well earned wash....
  23. Drove mine - via the petrol station, as I had decided to use it daily all last week!! Richard:biggrin:
  24. Thanks for the birthday wishes folks....... :pint::pint:
  25. Neither does mine - and nor did my last UK spec Zed!! Just like Andrew's pic of the bottle and motor above, UK spec cars have a single washer bottle for the windscreen, rear window and headlamp wash. There is just a separate motor for each!
