  1. Welcome back Roy!!
  2. Nice work Ian - and thanks for organising! Please do pop me on the stand-by list as well mate...
  3. As far as I know, the 300zx does not have wheel bolt covers mate! OEM bolts (or rather, nuts) are either chromed or polished; so are not covered. Aftermarket wheels are generally supplied with the nuts that will fit in their specific apertures, so can differ greatly in size or shape.....
  4. Thanks Ian - appreciate all you have done for us mate; and no need to apologise for the short notice. Pretty poor organisation from either the event organisers or the 350z guys IMO though - leaving it so late! Seeing as I (and probably a few others) have missed the deadline, what do we do, if we still wish to attend....?
  5. Yup - another classic; and I never tire of watching that either...
  6. Yup - not from us mate....!! …..Or a stalker...… But congratulations on entering your fifth decade today Si; I have less than one year of mine left, before hitting the big 5-0 next Feb. So like Gary says, you're still a whippersnapper..
  7. Only Fools was an enduring classic; so much so, it became an institution. I had forgotten about Coupling - loved that too - and if we allow the Americans in, then Frasier is up there as well. I still agree with Gaz, that Faulty Towers pips them all to the post; just. It was from a world that no longer exists and is all the better for it.... IMO of course:biggrin:
  8. Hilarious - and "The Germans" was definitely the best episode. So un-PC; especially unedited for today's standards (I have the DVD set). I probably do agree it deserves the accolade - but Blackadder II definitely comes very close:cool:
  9. Game On was good for the first series (or maybe two); until Neil Stuke took over from Ben Chaplin. It was still funny, but the joke about Matthew's agoraphobia just wasn't the same. IMO of course.... I did have a crush on Sam Janus though...:wink:
  10. I agree - I saw Bottom Live at least twice in the early '90s..... I laughed so much I was in pain...
  11. Many happy returns Mr Parsons - hope you have a great 40th my friend....:happybday: Richard:cool:
  12. Many happy returns Ali - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  13. Yup - seconded.... ...And the parking is still probably cheaper than a taxi each way. Well it would be for me...
  14. Wise words..... I bought the fibre glass replica many years ago for my red Zed - did the job, but it never sat as well as the proper OEM version. I currently have the same thing on my blue Zed; it was fitted long before I bought it - and TBH, I just cold not be bothered with removing it and going back to the original. It's not bad, but from seeing Simon's and Andrew's cars, you can definitely see the difference!!
  15. Today, I did a couple of little cosmetic tidying jobs under the bonnet..... I replaced the bonnet hinge covers, the rubber bump-stops and the little grommet on the bonnet support - nice new items arrived from Z1 in the week  (sorry JP, no pictures.... again:lol: ) I also treated the ventilation system with some Autoglym air-con cleaner. It smells nice and fresh now; with the last traces of a year in the body shop a distant memory:thumbup:
  16. Thanks for your support Dave - always appreciated mate!! And great to see you both out and about in the Zed....
  17. Yup - could not agree more....
  18. One of the best car events IMO - so definitely up for it now Zeddy is home... 1) Bigh (Howard) 2) Funkysi (Simon) 3) Chris 300 +family (Chris) 4) AndrewG 5) Richard (and Julia)
  19. Hi Tom, I would hope so; as it's one of the best events in the car show calendar... Great location, lots to see and something for everyone. I shall get onto it with the rest of the committee team:cool:
  20. Indeed they were...… Great thread though Gaz - didn't fool me for a second though... Date aside, I have seen your car enough times to know that pic wasn't yours...
  21. Supply and fit coilovers for £500-ish all round...? Does not sound a bad price at first - but as said above, I'd have to question the build quality... And subsequent ride quality afterwards, at that price!! …..So if I were you, I'd go with this option...
  22. I have - but before the club discount was posted up.... I shall call them with my booking reference to sort:cool: Edit - mine was booked directly with the hotel, BTW....
  23. Go for it Steve - if and when you sell the Z32 mate - 350z is still a decent drivers car...…!! Just go pre-2006, unless you want to be paying in the region of £500 PA for road tax:wink:
  24. Awesome - I thought the same, as I turned my calendar page in the garage this morning.... Those cars are a real credit to their owners and this club. Nice one folks...:cool:
