Pidgeon Mod
Pretty much, that is the whole concept of dump valves, the stall is caused when you shut off the gas, butterfly shuts and built up pressure. smithy

Pidgeon Mod
Yeah you can do that with no running issues, however the dump valves were fitted for a reason, releasing build up of pressure when the butterfly shuts, block em off and you lose the reason they were fitted in the 1st place. I must confess i've NEVER known anyone to purposely block them off without fitting new ones at the same time, but hey each to their own ;) smithy

Have PCV valves and hoses cured your smoking problem
Mine usually last a couple hundred miles or so and start to fill up again, used to replace, just clean em out now... thinking of changing for different model of PCV valves. Higher than normal crankcase pressure will bung up the pcv valves quicker than normal, however Nissan valves are not all the same and there some that "may" last longer for problematic Zeds, as proved on 350Z's suffereing crank case pressure problems. smithy

CF dash kit
Yep, can believe it. There are some differences in quality and the amount of actual C/F used in these dash kits from different places. Alot are using whats called photogenesis ( spelling) looks like carbon, feels like carbon, but it ain't.. Am trying to buy just the stereo surround piece now from Aus and at great expense compared to the ebay ones too, but am happy 100% it is the real thing ;) cheers smithy

koyo rads
It's a complete length of folded stainless steel, looks rather nice. I've supplied a few before from the US, they cost around 70 quid though!! hence why around the end of next week am doing me own with a rather nice design ;) if yer in no hurry, should be a couple of weeks and these will be available. cheers smithy

koyo rads
If yer mean using teh existing rad support brackets, yer can just remove the rubber inserts for a quick fix, apart from that an actual full stainless new bracket to suit the koyo looks the best. cheers smithy

how do you find out the maximum boost you can run on uprated turbos?
TBH mate i wouldn't be overly concerned about that just yet cos at the end of the day, the mapper maps the car using what boost he sees as giving the best results for both power and fueling together. As said, often the case of turning boost down gives better results. Certainly though the mapper would identify if the turbo's are running out of boost before the engine makes peak power and as your using T3's, these generally are built for high boost anyways, certainly from the cossie days ;) Finally from what I've seen of cars being mapped, somewhere between 1.2 and 1.8 bar seems to be the norm on higher powered Zeds which won't be a problem on yourt tubs.. cheers smithy

Blitz ECU
They ain't fella, i answered all yer questions and right upto post 9 it was done and dusted, Jay questioned himself it "might" be a chip and not an ecu but didn't know and thats it, no one else said anything different. Happy to help bud, but just read what someone says "it is" and not what they say they "think", to be sure ;) smithy

YES IT IS A COMPLETE ECU.............................................................. With a Chip inside designed by Blitz in a Blitz ECU  Yes you can up the boost, NO you can't add bigger injectors (555's) with it, the chip would need removing and in answer to yer other questions, I answered them 10 posts ago, geez wheres me fags. smithy

Blitz ECU
NO mate, read again "a replacement complete ECU " you only have 1 engine ECU. oh and no de-limiter and increase in boost with different fueling/timing maps. Smithy

Blitz ECU
Many years ago Blitz did a replacement complete ECU and for some reason listed it only available for jap imports. Pretty sure it was big money too ;) smithy

Popper Kits
The solenoid just pulls the inner door catch which automatically returns back. The door will then only actually open outwards if 1) the car is leaning down on the side you popped 2) you adjjust the door hinge so it's fitting tighter like bazzaG's or 3) an actual popper is fitted on the bottom of the door, it's a spring loaded small bar which when door shuts it's compressed but soon as door is activated it springs it open, like mine. Either way don't worry, the door will open a max of about 12inches, so won't hit cars close by, well my never does ;) Mine works of a switch under the door mirror and from my remote. I also have a hidden switch incase the units pack up, this switch takes takes a live feed direct from the battery. I then use 1 way to open the bonnet incase of battery (car) failure and another way to enter car incase everything packs up, lol cheers smithy

UK Clocks to borrow, rent hire etc
Fitted a set of UK clocks in a Jap spec I have here, the needle moves as if it's going in KMPH. I:E Speedo says 80 for example and i know am only doing around 50ish. I've confirmed they are 100% deffo UK clocks ( spoke with Luke to confirm) so either they are faulty or summits going on with something else. Now then am hoping some kind soul will help me know one way or the other, is anyone willing to send me a UK clock unit by registered post, the day it arrives I will simply plug it in as is, drive up the road and then post the clocks back again to you by registered post, so the longest you'll be without them in total is 48hrs Max! If all works well it tells me these ones ain't right, if they read the same as mine, it tells me something somewhere else ain't right. I will of course cover all costs and be glad to show my appreaciation should you require anything from me ;) Please please  smithy
