its not how tall the brakes are its how far they stick out. The ZX calipers are large and stick out quite a lot. When they say it wont fit they mean the spokes will hit the caliper because the off-set is wrong.

Tell me a car which is updated every year, year on year. There aren't any. All cars are based upon the technology from when it was first designed and released. You get up dates but there are only to change the problem parts or to make the car cheaper to make. There are very few differences between a 95 Z and a 89/88 Z (a few where released before 89, apparently). The electrics is a little different and the injectors are too, but essentially it is the same car. Cars only get serious updates when the whole thing is scrapped and started again. Like the R32, R33, R34, they dont even have the same chassis or body parts. The Skyline R33 has got 6 years over the 300ZX. Put it this way, when the Z was released the 486 was the the talk of the PC world and was still months away from being released. The fastest home PC you could get was a 386 with a Math-Co-Processor. When the R33 came out, the Intel Pentium was out and the P2 was less than a year away. That is what technology does over time.

If you look at the special features of the computer animation of the first street race you will notice that Dom's car is a 300ZX and not a RX-7 like it was when the film was shot. Well it wont be coming from Japan. I it will be made in Europe or the US as they can make cars over 280PS. Mitsubishi EVO made a few versions over 300bhp and got round the laws by making them in the UK. Maybe they will do the same with the 350Z

By what I understand is you get the whole thing you see on the picture, but the big connector will have to be cut off and then have the wires spliced into the harness.

0-60 is hard to calculate. 2nd gear on a Z will goto 60 or 65. 2nd gear on the NSX tops out at 90mph.

manifold means engine out though, and there are no decent manifold setups. Boost controllers will help the lag but not by much I dont think.

Sad but like already said, you need to be protected on a bike. With amour you can fall off on a bike and slide on the road at 40mph. Do the same with anything less and you will be having skin grafs for the next 3 years if you survive the massive blood loss. I would like a motorbike but I never will. Not because they are dangerous, but there are too many cars on the road.
