  1. Fox hunting they get 80-100 dogs to chase a fox for hours until it is so tired that the dogs catch them and they are ripped to bits alive. Fishing, a magot on a hook where when the fish is caught 95% of fishers put it in a basket and then let it free afterwards. Thats the difference. The fish lives and fox is ripped apart after several hours of being chased. But they say it for pest control, but why do you need 20 stuck up people riding horses and 80 or so dogs to catch 2-3 foxes if you are lucky? They dont do that when killing rats, which are real pests.
  2. Congrats on the purchase. You will have to come to some of the meetings we have in the North West
  3. I also heard some stories about that mechanic. They didnt show his best mechanical side
  4. Timmy I have been to a meeting more than a hundred miles away, 3 infact. As I remember you where meant to goto 1 but your window didnt work or some lame excuse. No I havent been to JAE, but what has that got to do with it? No I havent been to TRAX dont want too. I haven't gone to Max Power live, and again I dont want to. I am sure you do. I have gone to a few track days actually. Have I attended anything? What the hell does that mean? Yeah I go to car shows, rallies track days. You? Anything where the main feature is the cars performance?
  5. I am sorry I didnt give more detail about the PS GT game. I started to lose interest in PS games when I was 16 and I started to get a life. I am sure it will happen to you to when you reach puberty. Personally I would rather drive round a track than watch Subarus trying to drift round corners like a ****er. But thats the difference, I would rather do, you like to watch. You also like to watch cars while they are parked up with the bonet open, with every engine part polished to fuel their narcissistic ego. I get bored of that very quickly. £25 to have a go on a track is going to attract ****ers. As for the cost of going on Silverstone, what you want to know? It just shows you know NOTHING about track days. The costs varies depending on the time of year and how many people are allowed on and whether its an open or closed pit. But I am sure you won't really know that because you have never looked into it as you are happy at TRAX. But a Silverstone track day will range from £200 to over £500. However it is true, I have never been on a track day but I have been to watch a few. As for the traders. Are you telling me out of all the traders at TRAX and Japfest, not 1 of them was selling any neon product? There maybe some reputable ones there, but I bet the where out numbered. As for exotic cars going round a track. A proper track day was on the 1st June at Oulton Park (one of the best tracks in this country) and to give you a small sample of the cars there, Several Caterhams and Westfields, 2 x Ferrari 360 Ferrari 355F1 Porsche 911 GT2 2 x Porsche 966 Turbo, Porsche 964, Ultima GTR, 2 x BMW M3, Lancia Delta EVO (And this one will piss on any Z around this track) Nissan 240Z And these are only the cars who booked on the internet, you cant see the cars which phoned and booked. I think I know which ones I would rather go and watch, Subaru or Ferrari? Honda 2000 or Ulitma GTR? Skyline or Porsche 966 Turbo? Hmmmmmmmm? As for the professional ICE installers. Again difference. Serious track day goers take out their radios and speakers to same weight to gain performance going round a track. TRAX people have competitions on how much they can output before the altinator burns out. Again a huge difference between the 2 events and the people who go to these events.
  6. I got my pistons and an air filter from there and didnt pay any tax
  7. Lets look at the difference. Days like TRAX and Japfest. Where the main attraction are "Thumping ICE", women walking round ready to pose on your car to make you feel special, playstations to play racing game on because for some reason high scores on GT impress some people, traders so you can buy your under car neons and you can pay £25 to have a sessions on the track and drive like a dick. Look at thier websites, not 1 place does it advertise itself as a "track day" A proper track day: You pay your money in advanced. A limited number of cars can book onto the track and a limited number are allowed on the track at once. There are no traders, bitches thinking you want them lying over your car, no "Thumping ICE", no "ADRENALINE RIDES" or Sony Playstations. Just people who pay more money to get on a track, and are there ready to drive on a track. Not people who thought "I'll have a go"
  8. Lets look at the difference between what you call a track day and what I call a track day Trax, features are: (According to website) THUMPING ICE MOBLE ROLLING ROAD ADRENALINE RIDES Sony Playstation Entertainment support from leading motoring magazines incjuding, Revs, Redline, Max Power, Fast Car, Fast Ford, Total Vauxhall and Total Car audio Now from that list of features are you more likely to attract sensible track day people or ****ers? I cant see how Adrenaline rides or Sony Playstations will attract proper track dayers. Sounds more like pre 16 year olds. And "THUMPING ICE" again who are you going to attract. Look at the magazines associated with it, all boy racer mags. As for Japfest, look at the photos on the sitem of blinged out cars with half naked women on them. Again which type of person is that likely to draw. How much are these shows? Not as much as a track day I feel, again more likely to draw in people who want a cheap go round a track.
  9. I wouldnt call trax a track day. Again its a car show at a race track.
  10. All you can do is point this out to the police. I know some one who had a little accident and 8 weeks later the other party said they where claiming for compensation. My friend told the police that the inncodent happened 8 weeks ago and the police went round and basically said, if you are making a claim we will start an investigation to wheter its fraud or not. They didnt claim in the end
  11. Depends on how much you want to lower it. Chris is an Ebach (Is that right?) spring dealer now.
  12. No. I did not say that. TBH I would not class that as a track day. It was a car festival with a track. Track days are completely different.
  13. Do a search. WHich oil is asked every few months, I am surprised you havent seen any threads regarding it.
  14. Has any one actually read some of the posts. He said..... So he was trying to get the back out. He also said he was experimenting finding how well the car performed. Experimenting with what? Laws of physics, seeing if he can go round a corner without needing to use his brakes? He also said he did it in the safety of a track. No thought that he could have killed his passenger or took out another car along the way. Thing is, i think if he managed to get the car back under control (most probably by pure luck) he would think it was great and he was a fantastic driver and try to do it again.
  15. Are you losing any water? Have you drained the water and see if it what colour it is. If you are not losing any water and the water looks like water and not brown sludge, I doubt it is the head gasket.
  16. I the lifters my be on the way out or dry. I remember reading in the book that once the lifters are installed do not, turn them upside down as the oil will come out of them and may never get back in. Whether its true or not I dont know.
  17. It wouldnt surprise me. There are rules on how a Japanese garden should be set out. The path has to go a certain way so evil spirits will get lost in the garden and never reach the house.
  18. Nice one. It does make a difference with the brace on. There was a poll on 300zxclub.com wether they actually did something or just for looks. How you can say the dont do anything is a mystery.

Looks just as bad as the 280Z (Or 260Z) which has had tail fins installed in the back ground. Obviously owned by some one who has no taste
  20. That will probably cause the system to crash and your IP will probably be banned from using the site. web sites dont look too kindly on 50,000,000 requests from 1 person. Use any car insuance online quote as you can put regs in there and it will tell you what it is.
  21. How you going to do that?
  22. I bet it would have got more if it was a manual. Just look at the number of people who come on here looking for a UK manual. One reason to battle it out with my manual.
  23. All it tells you is the make, model and year of the car. I think it tells you the colour too.
  24. A day in the Lakes would be a good Meeting. The lakes is only an hour away from me. :D
  25. The car is very low mileage for a UK and is also a 94 which is very young for a UK, not to mention quite young compaired to most Zs in this country, be its UK or Import.
