  1. LOL When I saw the title of your post "small tick over prob nearly resolved! " I was going to tell you can get special shampoos for that problem

Basically yeah. The closest I have come to what the book says and what you can use is my Corsa. 55 litre tank and I have put in 54.77 litres in

Says so in the service manual. It also says so in my hand book. It also says so in the stats. Because the light was on doesnt mean the tank was completely empty. I have driven 30 miles with the light on. The pump does not reach right to the bottom of the tank so you will NEVER completely empty it.

    its a 72 litre tank.
  5. No English dictionary word. Same with purple
  6. have you got the Windows updates including Media Player 9?
  7. So what is the only word then Mike ?? ;)
  8. You from Wigan? What Z do you drive? Never seen you, or maybe I have. I drove to Scotland on holiday, boot full of luggage, 2 people and a tank full of fuel and I got 32mpg. But I did drive at 60mph most of the way. The Speedo is good to about 70 then it starts going off a little. I have dont 100mph according to the speedo but the GPS was showing 90. BUt upto 70mph the speedo and GPS show virtually the same thing.
  9. Do you know there are more middle managment jobs in the HNS than there are beds. So, 1 bed takes 0.05 doctors, 0.2 nurses and 3 managers to run. Get rid of the managers and spend it on nurses, doctors and hospitals. We also pump billions of £ into the European Union of which we see little of it back. Also 90% of all the money which goes into the EU just disapears. There has been refusals for 3 independent audits to find where thousands of billions of Euros go missing every year. Schools where meant to get extra money. The goverment gave the money to local councils but the schools never got it. Where did it go? Again the multipul layers of middle managment.
  10. Forgot to say, most flip paints, its not the paint that flips, its the coating which causes it to flip. The colours which the paint flips depends on the colour of the paint on the car, I think
  11. I was actually thinking of doing it. Because you only need 1 thin coat of flip, 1 litre is enough to do a whole car, apparently according to the paint chap. What I am worried about is insurance as he said it makes some insurance companies hike up the cost a lot. Plus I am worred about stone chips. What you think? Should I paint purple and flip? Stuart
  12. What? Lets hope no one was hurt! Tough luck mate, least its insured and you can order another one  Can some on tell me how a huge 30,000 tonne cargo ship didnt see a 100,000 tonne 1/2 a mile long tanker?
  13. (Sorry to go on about this ;)) But the track day was where trying to organise, we would have a qualified racing instructor with our group all day would would go out with each driver and tuition us on the track.
  14. That track wasnt well marshalled then as they should have been taken off. This is also why I was trying to organise a Z only track day for us lot, as then we will know eachother and tosser driving would not be tollerated, but I am sure we wouldnt drive like that too.
  15. Nice one. I will have to get to one this year. THe one I went to I had 1 run before it rained again.
  16. You have to paint the car first what ever colour you want it and then you spray a layer of flip coating over it. The place where I get my paint sells it for £100-£120 a litre.!
  17. Could it have been oil on the car then giving it its strange colours ? ;)
  18. Put it this way. If they crashed doing the same speed on a road it would have been a lot worse, they could have killed pedestrians and children. Their car would have been worse off. Also 99% of crashes on tracks are the drivers fault. If any one is driving dangerously or not obiding by the rules of the track they will be taken off.

No performance gain. You could argue that the hard pipes help the cooling.

Smithy does rad hose kits doesn't he?
  21. You can spend thousands of paint, kits, flashing lights and gizmos and to me it still stock. The car may look different but it goes no different performance wise. You seen that Honda where the inside has been made to look like an alien space ship? Loads of mods in there, but the car is still as slow as ever and the performance is still stock.
  22. I agree, but the gear changes I do with a normal shift are restricted in speed because of the grinding, so a short shift doesn't mean you can change gear faster. However, you said the bushes need changing anyway so not pay a few wxtra ££ and get the short shift just for the feel.
  23. Which one? Oil or water? When you get an after market dial you get a new sender with it which you should use. The oil you can just do a straight swap as the thread is very common. The water you have to have tapped into the radiator water pips.
  24. Yeah My cars been stollen from SE. Oh I found it a mile away it ran out of petrol, no damage at all to the car, they just removed the "ICE" but where very careful at doing it.
  25. I wondered this too and had a mixed reaction when asked. People say if feels good as the shifter hardly has to move change gear, which means you think you have put it in gear but you haven't  I also heard that you cant change gear too quickly. Like the comon problem with the 300zx, when you change gear too quick, it caused the box to crunch. With a short shift you change gear faster natrually because there is less movment between changes and you could find your syncomesh crunching a few times.
