  1. Problem with GPS based systems, they wont alarm you to mobile sites, pigs sat on bridges with radar guns, or hidden in their van on a layby
  2. Im working all weekend :(
  3. Ooooo. Sorry my mistake. Looks more like a Pug.
  4. I think he should get into the blue Saxo in the back ground :D ;)
  5. Do a search. I remember quite a few horror stories with people who steam cleaned their Z engine.
  6. Bell 550 I think is a very good one. Good at detecting lots of different types of cameras. Dont forget that radar detectors are illegal in lots of european countries and there are heavy penalties if found with one.
  7. in his MG? There are some dodgy alton towers pics on there too
  8. I bought new ones to go on my car after the rebuild. You are more than welcome to the old ones. I didnt get any error codes but I dont think the sensor was working 100% but it could be better than nothing.
  9. I am not surprised there was no water in it considering there were no Plenum water pipes. It would have just poured out. This is obviously a case the job too complex for them. Perhaps a complaint should be made to Nissan HQ about them.
  10. Could have been mine. Was it a foot in the air on axel stands? I just dont remember my car telling me it was going out though.
  11. Idle has nothing to do with anything when you are driving. Idle is the engine revs when the car is not in gear and with no intervention from the driver. It sounds like a slipping clutch as said. Best way to see if it is a slipping clutch is to drive at 40mph in 5th and then floor it. Obviously do this where you legally can. I wouldnt go for a clutch from CourtesyParts as although they do give good service the parts are not the cheapest for the US, and you will get hammered another $100 for shipping and tax when it arrives here. See if Smithy has any at the moment or look to import one yourself if you want. You shouldnt need a new flywheel but it may need skimming or infact you should skim it anyway if you can. Reading some US tech sites, they say 99% of the time its just the clutch pedal needs adjusting, however, I have not heard from any one on here where it worked. Stuart
  12. Jesus? Did you have locking nuts on?
  13. I wonder if the BBC know that they are using a link to their web site about this. If told they may change the page on that link warning people not to trust these emails.

  15. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=24079-00001 There you go
  16. The light will come on if the ABS detects a problem. The only ABS problem I can think of which will cause the ABS light to come on straight away is a sensor is not there or unplugged. If the sensor is on but not working correctly it will only be found after driving for a few yards over 12mph or something. The only other problem which would cause the ABS light to come on I think is low brake fluid level. But im not sure whether its the ABS light or handbrake light which would light up. Either way, check the brake fluid level.

If you have some one over there you can get so things much cheaper. I was offered a 96 GTR33 50,000 miles and purple. :D for £7000, in the country. :( I just couldn't afford it and I couldn't afford the insurance or parts should anything go wrong. Plus my Z looks way nicer and sounds a lot better too :D
  18. If you got that with a slippy start, you are looking for another 4-10mph top speed with a good start arent you?

  24. Just before I bought my car, it has new suspention and HICAS removed for the same reasons.
  25. LOL Good luck. As you know that Rays wheels are very expensive and not many people are going to have them which means even less will have a set or even 1 up for sale. Why do you need just the 1? Stuart
