It will stop wheel spin caused by too much acceleration. It wont stop all 4 wheels just sliding out from under you, nothing will. It wont brake for you. It wont allow you to just go too fast into a corner and it will sort everything out. It wont allow you to drive like a fool and get away with it. Just remember that ;) Some people think that because you have Traction Control you can get away with not driving properly

It was really cold today. Tyres would not be at a good temp to work well so that would hinder a lot of performances.

The turbos are more accessabile with the plenum off, but I dont think you get get to them enough. The only way I have heard of getting the turbos out with the engine in, is from under the car. And I have not heard 1 person say that it is easier that way. I have heard the it is easier to pull the engine do the turbos and then put the engine back in.

Nope remapping wont automatically turn off the restriction.

If its the same page every time it sounds more like spyware. If not. Install Windows XP SP2 if you can, that has one installed. Or use Mozilla (FireFox) browser that has one built in. Other option are zone alarm firewall which also has a popup blocker on it. There are many others too.
