Where to mount water temp sender...
Smithy can get a hard rad pipe made up and if you send him the boss from the sender, he can get it fitted in already, so its just a case of screwing in the sensor.

twin pop's
I have read that a twin pop will help with lower power over the single intake, seeing quotes of 10bhp increases over a single. but is it worth it when you have to buy the Dual POP, 2 cone filters and ECU chip just for 10bhp? But when you get over 450bhp the twin pop benifits increase.

Houghton Wont insure me

what to mod... (the n00b question!)
Dump valves are not standard. Recirculating valves are. The only way to see what chip, if any, you have is to open up the ECU. Chipping the 300ZX alone doesnt increase the power that much. But what is does do, is change the mapping so that the turbo pressure can be increased safely. Next step for you is to chip the ECU and then increase the boost with either a boost controller or boost jets. However a standard clutch will not last long with that much power increase

I got mine rebuilt with racing spec Garrett 360º kit, step gap oil rings and new turbo wheels for less than a grand. I was told they will do a bar of boost all day every day, as they are designed for racing.
