I really doubt the police will come knocking on your door if you dont stop for these none police people. It took police 8 hours to go to a house where a man had been murdered a few days ago. Plus they can not do anything besides look for your MOT cert. They tried to do on the spot emissions checks and fine people who's car was over the legal requirement but none of the held up. When it went to court the defence stated that that there is no way a person can check the emissions themselves unless they have a devise which costs thousands to check it. With lorries they can check an awful lot. they are not meant to go over certain speeds, they are not allowed to travel so long without a rest, they are not allowed to go over certain weights. Personally I think its just scare tactics. However if I ever do get pulled over while driving normally, I would get the vid camera out and film them around the car, and warn them if they make a mark on the car, they will be getting a bill for the repairs. ;)

I was driving through an area of Cheshire and 1 in 5 cars was a porsche and I am not exagurating. I actually got a few looks driving through in my Nissan. Probably not looking for the right reasons but they where looking.

If couse there is nothing stopping people using the images. If they want them they will get them. All you can do it make it a bit harder.

DOS 6.22 was 5 Discs ;) But you only used the first 3 on a normal setup ;) Why not use a Virtual PC program which lets you have many OS on one computer.

I ditched Norton after I knew I had a virus. I sent the file to Norton and they told me they knew about that virus and the definition would be released with its next update, 4 weeks away. I changed to AVG which found it straight away and cleaned it. I also get updated almost every day with AVG, sometimes twice a day. It keeps you up to date, and instead of downloading 500k of updates which some modems may take a while (Dialup) you get 10k or less updates with major ones only every month or so. Dont mistaken spyware with virus. I know some virus checkers report certain spyware as viruses, so it looks like that virus checker is finding a virus which others done, when in fact it has not found a virus at all.

YOu will need to make the drives FAT32. Windows XP uses NTFS which dos can not see.

Its easy to see. stand at the side of your car so the battery is closes to you. Look along the back of the engine. About 20cm past the batter you will see a big philips screw. Thats it. You have to unplug the connector first before you adjust the idle.

When you look at an image for a very long time which is very contrasting and doesnt change much, the eye produces a chemical in the areas of the eye which is seeing this object. This chemical is to counteract any bright or contrasting images so that you dont damage your eyes. It is basically monitor screen burn on your eyes if any one has seen that. When a monitor is on the same image for a very long time (Talking months none stop of the same image not moving) it burns that image onto the glass and on the pixels. This is what exactly happens to your eyes. The chemical is released into the eyes to counter act this bright area which could be "screen burned" on to your retina. The chemical is released onto the exact areas where you see the image creating a slight negative version of what you are seeing on your retina canceling out some of the light, making it less harsh and reducing the damage because its not as bright. Because chemical reactions are slower than electrical ones it takes time for the chemical to be produced, hence why you have to look at the image for a long time for this to happen, and the longer you look the better it is. And the same is for the chemical to leave. So when you look a way, the chemicals are still in your eye, counter balancing this image you where looking at, and still in the shape of the image you where looking at. So when you look some where else, you see a slight negative image of what you where looking at, because this chemical is still in your eyes. For example, has any one seen the Jesus one? Where you look at a simple picure of him for a min or 2, then close your eyes and an image appears. Your eyes start to get damaged because you are looking at a bright picture of Jesus on the paper. Your eyes release a chemical to stop screen burn and only releases it on the areas where the light is landing on your retina, so the chemical is in a Jesus shape pattern. This chemical makes that part of the eye see another colour to stop the severity of the light. You close your eyes your retina sees nothing but this Jesus shapped area of chemicals is still on your eyes. This chemical makes you see another colour to stop the severity of light, but there is no light so you only see the jesus shaped chemical area on your eyes. Its the same with the swerling picture. Did any of that make sence?

Change the bulb. They do lose light over time. When I got my Z the dips where yellow. One blew and I changed the bulb and it was bright white. You only notce it when you see a new and old bulb side by side
