I basically takes exhaust gases and puts it back in to the cylinder to burn it again to cut the emissions and drop the temperature. So you may stuggle to pass emissions test afterwards, and apparently there is more chance of detonation. There is a lot about this on the US forums

I phoned a few round here and they said they can not chrome plastic. Metal is OK but plastic is another matter.

Where your dip unit is? My passenger main beam didnt work once. It was just the connection to the bulb. Just press it in a little see if that makes any difference.

I think it may be better to reset the ECU and make sure. Some of those codes could be old.

Dont know but I know some one in the North West who has a Z but has been in a serious accident. Dont knoe if it was in his Z though.

Shouldnt the club get involved. There are only 2 places where I have seen the online manual hosted. One is at 300ZX.co.uk and the other one was, well I cant remember anymore it was that long ago and I have only ever found 1 link to it. While all the other places use 300ZX.co.uk one, even the yanks now.

Sound is deeper but not much. The performance is noticably better. You can feel it on your neck a little more but thats it.

Its really easy. Take out the floor panels of the boot, and take out the foam bits. Along the inside there are about 12 10mm all around the edge of the boot. Undo them all. There is also a screw under the wheel arch where the bumper and the 3/4 panel meet. Then there are about 5 clips which you get to from under the car, just under the number plate area. Take them off and off she comes.

We use Citrix at work I will see if I can dig something out for you. Its a pain in the area Citrix though.

Also make sure the TC is setup for 6 cylinders. Do you have the right software installed?

Yep I think it is time to move on. I have had lots of wonderful years with my Z and with the new friends I have made here, but there are lots of other cars out there which I have an urge to try. There is life beyond a 300ZX For example I saw a car on the road which I think demands more respect on the road than the Z and I think that is a good place to start. I know I will get a lot of backlash from people on here for selling up but that is expected, its a part of being on this forum, but owning my selected car will make up for it all, but I think some of you will understand when you see the pic of the car I saw today. No no no dont try to talk me out of buying it. It cant be done. I will post my car up for sale later and I must warn you, I can not accept anything less than £150,000 if I was to buy one of these beautiful beasts!. ;) Hehehehe
