  1. You know it makes sence;)
  2. Basically I work in computer support and get phone calls all over the country from people who work for the tote. How are you meant to give support to people when they know nothing about computers. For example we changed our exchange mail server and we are talking some people through how to change their email settings to look at the new server. Got them to the part where they put the exchange server name in and asked one to "type in email underscore exchange" "where is the underscore button?" I was asked. "Hold down shift and press the button to the right of zero" "Where is the shift button?" "Its the button which makes your letters capital" "Oh right, which button is that then?" I had an argument with one user who's computer had to come back in to be fixed because the modem died. She asked what part of the computer she should send back? I said the computer, we dont need the monitor keyboard or anything like that, just send the computer in. "yeah I know, but what part of it" "The computer, the big black thing sitting under you desk or under you monitor." "Oh you mean the hard drive?" "No the computer, the big black box where all the wires plug into" "Yeah, thats the hard drive" "No the hard drive is inside the computer" "Inside which bit of the the computer?" "It is inside the computer bit" "Inside the hard drive?" FFS!!!!! In a world now where there are very few jobs with out computers, you would expect people to have the simplist understanding of the things.
  3. As said it depends if they ahve been abused, and then other factors can contrubute, oil changes, cooling, amount of use. Generally 60k-80k miles, but well looked after ones have gone for over 100k miles
  4. There are a few cars in the US which have said to produce 500bhp on stock components which I think is probably streatching the truth. Changing nothing internally, you can probably produce 400bhp at the hub. But the pistions will be getting close to the limit. The clutch will last a few days at that power and if you have an automatic, that will be close to its limit too. To get that power you will need. Airfilter, Smithys dual will be better, Boost controller, its better to have an electronic on and jets, Performance Exhaust and decat pipes, Uprated Intercoolers, this is often over looked. Lightened pulley, Lightened flywheel (This is not so important) New ECU chip. The SE one is good for that power. Preferably you want a Piggy back system so it can be changed again as and when needed. But all of this is pontless if the engine is not in good condition. Have you done a compression test?
  5. I'll be there as usuall
  6. Any idea when this could happen?
  7. if that what it says. I did a wheel bearing on a corsa and that said the hub nut was to be on 225ft/lb or something.
  8. NISSAN 300 ZX TURBO 2960cc 1990 1994 2 - Petrol Manual 35529201 18
  9. Do I get any comission? ;)
  10. Well the BBC should have made sure that they protected their investment. I cant believe they only signed him up and he had the right to leave so early.
  11. I have not seen a Plasma or LCD screen which I have been impressed with. The screen size and thickness is impressive but the picture quality has never been
  12. From what I heard. Japanese have 280bhp, US manual has 300bhp auto 280bhp, Europe has 300bhp (but evidence suggests 280bhp)
  13. This happened to me, and no wheel allignment could fix it. I think it ended up being the tyre. Also check every single bolt on the crossmember, steering and suspention is torqued up correctly.
  14. There are wires which come from teh gearbox. On the side of it where the gearbox fluid comes out into the oil cooling pipes. One of the banjo bolts has a plug on it.
  15. Did you not get a print out of your wheel setting when you got it tracked? It should say on there what the camber was. Does the rear wheel wobble? Bad bearing track rod? Spring height? Measure from the ground to the top of the wheel arch and see if they are different heights.
  16. Well what do you believe? That road tax is going to increase by a lot or that they are going to get rid of road tax and charge you to use the roads.?
  17. Celerons are good for doing the simple things. They start to struggle when you start doing multi tasking. Its like they have the Horse Power of a Pentium but dont have the same torque. ;) Over clocking is not an easy thing to do mate. YOu have to have good cooling on your computer and you have to be good at chaning the vaultage of your computer. Oh you you should really have some good expensive memory. All in all mate I dont think its worth it.
  18. But before you panic, about 99% of computer will do this automatically now. Only old ones require to do this manually.
  19. So far I have not had any problems running 32bit programs. When you look at Task Manager, you see a *32 next to some apps. These are the 32 bit ones. There is also a compatability wizard for the ones which dont work.
  20. NO different. OUt with the old and put in your new one. What may happen is the computer will say the CPU doesnt match up, press F1 to continue or go into bios. If that happens, follow the instructions, and if you go into the bios. Just save and exit.
  21. Mine is legit ;) Any one who uses databases should get this. Just done a database process in about 2-3 seconds what usually takes around 10.
  22. Problem is a lot of manufactures dont have 64 bit drivers. I am lucky as all of my components do have 64 bit drivers so Im ok. My dad's computer is another story. Most of his components done have 64 bit drivers
  23. I Have done loads of oil changes it has always take over 4 litres.
  24. It will never happen. This means that every single car in the country will have to have a GPS system on it, which means a computer system which can track the 40million cars on the road at once? They cant even print passports with out a cock up because of a new computer system.
