just like to say hello..............
Well it will probably be running 14 later on. :D Makes no difference when the seat belt is stamped. It gives a general idea, but it just means the seat belt was made in 1993. My car is a 1991 spec but I have 1990 on the seatbelts and have 300ZX on the mats not Z which 1991 ZXs have. Its just that I probably got the last of the 300ZX mats and a seat belt made in 1990. just like to say hello..............
Yeah, nice car. That is the one we thought Ajay was bidding for. According to Kirbz the car was running in saftey boost and he didnt know. The safty boot problem was fixed thanks to Jeff, and the car is now running at 14psi. Belive me he is gutted to see the car go. Its a very nice Z too. Is it a 1994? It thought it was a 1991. Stuart

Watch out what you say about the rust. You are not garunteed an Import to be 100% rust free. THey dont have as much underseal on as UK cars, and an import which has spent a few years here sould be rusting because of lack of protection. Also a large number of Jap imports come over with some sort of modification and you dont know if it is good or not. There have been horror stories of people getting an import and then having the engine blow weeks later because the car was modified. Stuart

McClaren F1 zorst - guess the price ?
Yes sorry the fastest production car. As for this Bugatti, have any of them been made? I know there is that TVR Speed12 is it? Which is meant to be super fast but none have been produced for sale. The McLaren F1 can do and has done 260mph stock. I have seen a video of it on the internet. Clarkey I think they are turboed anyway. I watched a vid mith Hakanen driving it and he said he loved the sound of the turbos. As for the exhaust price. Look at how much room the McLaren one took. Its all equal length manifold which just looks like a knot of metal. The F1 car has is more straight forward, as the manifold just comes out of the engine and goes straight back and they have a little more room to work with. Nelson, apparently F1 cars are restricted quite a lot. I hear that putting a different intake system in will add another 50bhp. The old F1 1.5 turbo engines could produce over 1000bhp, but with the restrictions of noise, exhaust, intake and other things which I wont understand, they ran about 650-800bhp on the track.

McClaren F1 zorst - guess the price ?
Probably. But equal length manifolds are very expensive, then make that for a V12 with very little room too, then make with the best material, none of this cheap stainless steel. Now make it for a £600,000 car. Dont forget they lose money for every one they make. Its just so they can say the make the worlds fastest car. Stuart

Oil on drive!!
No cat litter is good for when you have a puddle of it or its leaking. Its soaks it up when it touched it but its not good for getting oil that is soaked into the tarmac. Stuart

Does it piss you off? vote now:D
Its hard to say. I have searched on TT.net only to find over 1000 results and after the first 3 pages of having nothing to do with what I want, I get fed up and have to post. But I do say in the post that the search didnt really help. Its also hard for people to come on here say with the PTU problem not knowing what the cause is and try to search for it. What do they search for? Cutting out? Stalling? I just searched cutting out, and on the first page was PTU, spark plugs, starter motor, MAS problems and battry to just name a few results. Stuart

Resetting the ECU
The ECU can tell you of O2 failure but doesnt detect when the O2 sensor is just giving uncorrect feedback The battery needs to be disconnected for about 45 mins, and then needs about 200 miles to "Learn" again. Stuart

adjust idle speed
I take it your Z is a Japanese one. The beeping noise is a speed warning which tells you are 70mph. Its not on the UK cars. You can disconnect it some how. Stuart

Politics: 300ZX.Co.Uk Euro Referendum
Are you for joining the Euro? Yes or No? No name calling or anything else, just either Vote on the poll, or you can post your reasons as well as voting. I vote NO! Reasons. I dont like the idea of our countries money being ruled by people who have nothing to do with it. Interest rates have stayed level for a while to try get people spending more and to help on the rising house prices. If they where high this country would be in financial chaos. Also prices WILL go up if the UK joins. Every country who joined the Euro had price rises. Reason being if something costs £29.99 or €41.77 they will rise the price to €41.99 to make it look better. They will not lower it to €40.99 because they will lose more money. May not sound much but when buying your weekly shopping a little here, a little there will add up to maybe you shopping costs £2 or £3 more than before. That adds up to £100 £150 more on your shopping. It doesnt stop there it will effect everything. Petrol currently 72.9p here, which is €1.0152 a litre, will rise to €1.02 or something. Small amount but still an increase. Cloths will be effected, holidays, travel fares will all rise to round up to a nice number. A £139,000 house will cost €193,579 but they dont advertise prices like that they will make it 193,999 because they dont want to lower it to make less money. People say that we cant survive with being out of the Euro, however the countries are not in the Euro currently are doing very well. What are your thoughts? Stuart

Resetting the ECU
They should have reset it when they put it in. Yes it should be reset so the car can "learn" again. The Lambda sensors are commonly known as O2 sensors on the 300ZX. Stuart

How Can I Get PHP To Work On My Computer
I know its a server thing, but I need to have PHP working locally on my computer. How do I do it? I am currently working on something on PHP, but I need to develop it at home and have no access to a server with it on for now. Can I install it, or emulate it so it will work locally on my computer? If so how? Thanks Stuart

Or drink a substantial amount of it and if you become ill or die, its not normal water. ;) Stuart

Is this the PTU? Or what?
I know what you mean. Mine banged 2-3 times when my put just stopped working while I was at 4000+rpm. Sounded like a starting pistol. If your exhaust was already crumbling, that would be enough to blow the holes out of already weak and rusted parts, but I doubt to blow a hole in good metal Stuart

official nissan 350z site... nice
There was nothing on there really. I clicked on Coast driving, which took about 5 mins to load and had really bad animations of the car driving. :( Stuart

I Hate Critical Updates!
Right OK. Critical updates are the updates from Microsoft which patch over any security holes found by hackers. Fair enough, they can only help! WRONG! Chatting to DaveW on messenger last night he said that his internet was going really slow after installing the latest updates, which were for Internet Explorer. I thought "No" it's probably just his connection thats slowed down a little. Well, after installing the patch myself, I have noticed that my internet has come to a snails pace. It takes about 15 seconds to load to front page of the forum up, and this is from a 1Mbit cable connection. Not only that but every time I click post, I get an error, to which I have then click close on the error which closes every internet window I have open, and then click dont send error messages to Microsoft. Now this is since I have installed the latest patch. The internet is slow, I am getting errors every few mins. This is shite. Its made my internet, really slow and unstable. Why has a Micorsoft FIX! made my computer worse? I hate Microsoft. Stuart

I for got the real name, but its "Tommi" then Kara or some thing like Kara. He is a Japanese tuner who make big money out of tuning stuff like that. The only pic I have seen of one, was on his site (Forgot the address now) and sorry to disapoint it looked very stock. :( Stuart
