  1. A boost controller will over rule the safty boost. That is one major advantage of having jets, as the boost will lower when det is detected. A boost controller will completely over rule and saftey boost will not activate. Stuart

No. There is already a place where the stock gauge gets the pressure from. You connect your gauge hose up to that. Hardest part is getting the tube through to inside your car.

My after market gauge showed 15psi with 1mm tips, but my stock one shot over to the other side so quick that it jammed.
  4. Water sensors are located on the aluminium pipe which comes out of the front of the engine. one has a yellow top (ECU sensor) and one has a black top (Dash Temperature) Take them out and get a wire brush on them. Bellow is a link on how to clean your throttle bodies. If you just do these 2 things, its worth resetting your ECU after. Or disconnect your battery why you do it. http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/tb/tb.html Stuart
  5. Usually when this happens people start off with giving everything a good clean. Start off with the water sensors, take them out and give them a going over with a wire brush until they are nice a shiney again. Then move on to the throttle bodies which takes some time but is well worth it. Clean the TPS, Trottle Position sensor which is the little black box at the side of the Plenium. Clean or replace your airfilters. Replace your fuel filter. Reset your ECU by disconnecting the battery for at least an hour. These little things do the car a world of good, plus they are the cheapest things to do. Stuart

  7. Shit car, the tree isnt exactly that big.
  8. There are laws which forbid a crowed of 100 or more to congrigate in one place. It was one of the Anti Rave laws passed to cut down on Raves where no laws where really broken so the police could do nothing. So this 100 person law was passed and now they use it for cruises and such.
  9. Tell me when and I will do. Car is being chipped but should be ready tomorrow. Stuart
  10. Dont you get the shims when you buy a set of Nissan pads? The ones on my car where rusty when I last did a change. I just cleaned them with a wire brush and slapped copper grease all over it. Stuart
  11. They also dont work with radar so detectors wont find them.
  12. Looking at a picture of one, they dont look like they have a flash.
  13. Shouldnt really effect the setting should it? If you get larger wheels it will effect the cambre usually making it more negative than it should be. You should then put it back to what the stock vaule is. Sould be the same with the tracking too. Stuart
  14. I dont think he did. If he did he would have known about it from playing professional with the regualar medicals they have.
  15. I would just like to post here in memory of a friend of my mum's called Adrian Shelford. He played professional rugby for a number of years playing for Wigan and I think he had a stint playing in Australia too. After playing rugby he turned to teaching IT in high school, this is where be became a good friend of my mum. He was very popular with the children teaching them how to do the hacker in lessons. He died of a heart attack this morning while getting up for work. He was 36. He leaves behind a wife and 2 children, aged 10 and 6. I know some people dont like posts like this, but to others it helps. My thoughts go out to his family. Stuart
  16. If any one in the North West wants to see what it is like. Ask me and I will take you out for a drive, go round roundabouts with the accelerator planted to the floor. Strange feeling at first but a great buzz. I believe my TC saved my life or if not definatley stopped a serious accident. I was driving down a country lane about 9 at night in winter, only going 40-50 on a national limit road. I was going round a bend when I saw that a drain had burst and the water had frozen solid. With the Z lights and the fact it was black ice I didnt get much time before I hit it and so I decided not to as there was no time. The wheels hit the ice and the traction control went mad, I mean really mad for about half a second and then I carried on as if nothing happened. The rear twitched slightly, but my passenger didnt know that anything was wrong. Without the Traction Control my rear wheels would have just spun out of control and espeically cos I was on a bend, the rear end would have kicked out at over 40mph and hit a wall or on coming car. Mine comes on nearly every day now. Especially when its raining. Pulling quickly out of busy tight junctions was a pain as the wheels would spin very easily because of the wet and I was turning a sharp corner. Now Im not bothered as I know when the traction control come on, the rear is not going to kick out and that I am pulling off as fast as I can. The offer is open for people wanting a demo. :D Stuart
  17. Those the pics I took?
  18. If his car looks a write off, how fast was he going? Stuart

Not bad. I want to see more track action. Did you have to pay extra to go on the track? Stuart
  20. FFS. The ****er. Bleed him dry. You neck is getting a little stiff. Get an appointment to the doctor. Stuart
  21. People tend to get rid of them than replace them. Dont the AVI make the car over fuel to heat up the cats? If you decat you dont really need them. Stuart
  22. Yep, you can do it with the TC software which you get with the unit or the one now on the net. Or with out it, with the dial set to dry press the launch button twice holding it down the 2nd time. The rise the revs to the level you want and release the button. The rev is now set. The smae applies to when you have it set to wet.
  23. yeah. It is extra. It gives an extra rev limiter to use to get the turbos spooling and it has adjusting slip control for when you launch. Ie, its not on 10% all the time, it changes as you launch giving you better performance. Stuart
  24. Here is another way the conversation can go. MAC: Im getting new turbos, its gonna cost £3,000 (You are being a good husband and tell her everything). Mrs MAC: Why do you need them? Are the ones you have broke? MAC: Yes. Mrs MAC: Im Pregnant. MAC: Oh Fk
