Hi Ben, They are called PRO LED gauges and I cant remember where I got them from but if you are interested in these particular ones tell me and I will find the link. The din pod is actually a Mk3 Golf dial pod, which fits quite well in to the Z din with a little fileing down. I think it cost £22 for the din pod. Again if you are interested in one tell me and I will find the link. All my dials are electrical except the Boost and are very easy to install. The Boost you will get all the hoses and T-Pieces with the gauge, or you should. Use the T-Peice to attach the hose onto where the dash boost gauge goes and just to the side of the batter is a hole which goes through to the footwell of the passenger side. Thread the hose through that hole, (The hardes part of the whole thing) and then round the back of the centre console. Take off the black centre console panel where the radio is and you should be able to see the hose you just pushed round. Grab it and attach it to the back of the dial using the adapters you get with the dial. For the light, I got a feed from the little lightbulb inside the ashtray. Get some of the little splicing clips from halfords to get a connection, its the easiest way. What type of oil and water gauge are you thinking of getting as it is slightly different what to do from Electrical dials (What I have) and Mechanical ones. Stuart

There are plenty of those on Ebay.com. They are for US Zs though who's dials only go up to 160mph. Stuart

Nothing. Besides I have never seen 255/40/16. I think 245 is the widest they make in 16. Thats for UK Zs anyway. For Imported ones, 225 is the largest you can get on them, with out them bulging and making the whole thing worse. Stuart

There is a place I take my car to get done in Bolton. Its a INDEPENDENT 4 wheel lazer tracking. Lots of places dont do the rear wheels indipendently and line them up with the fronts. They check Cambre, Toe in/out and Caster of all 4 wheels. Its called Thistletwhaites in Bolton. What I think is strange is it disables the drivers button of the passenger window too. Why? Usually its disables the passenger button but the drivers controls can still work it. But on the Z it doesnt. It completely turns off the motor of the passenger window. :confused: Stuart

Have you pressed the window lock button on the drivers side?

What you after? The 2 seater is slightly faster because it is lighter, but the 2+2 is more pratical and meant to be more stable at higher speeds. Some parts like exhausts my be a problem for a 2 seater as they are slighty different than a 2+2 and not as popular.

1. DaveW has it in the lower DIN, but he has it in a DIN pocket. So when he leaves his car he turns it around and puts it in the pocket. Looks like a grey pack of cigs from out side. 2. Again DaveW has a little problem with a ticking noise coming from his solinoid. Ended up being a loose wire I think. Either way it now something really minor. There is a group buy being done of these things. Hurry up an you may be able to join it.

I really doubt they will get rid of messenger, as messenger is more of an invertational conversation not a talk to any one. Also it is a lot easier to track down people on messenger as they use a email address as their log in, which can be traced and a MSN passport which again is tracable. Stuart

They do this at the Three Sisters race track in Wigan. They have enduarance races for 4 hours and also have an hours practice and 15 mins qualifying. You have to do it in teams as you would get knackered doing it all yourslef and it would be expensive. Here are a few pics of the action from a few days ago to help you make your minds up. Its well worth doing. :D There where close to 30 Karts on the track this day so there was always someone you had to defend overtaking you, try to over take or dodge people who spin out. Stuart

The Jun 300ZX holds the world speed record in its class, which also has the Supra, RX-7 and Skyline in. 261mph I think it was and it ran 1,100bhp. It made the record in 1991 and still hold it, dispite all the other cars mentioned trying to break it. Its not that the 300ZX cant get power that high, its more of a pain to modify because of the V engine. Supra had 3 years more to develop than the Z, and all engine plans where scrapped for the Supra when the Z came out because they had to make it better, hence the higher spec, suposed higher power but not really faster. Put 500CC injectors, increase the boost to 12psi on a Z and get an ECU to work the larger injectors and higher turbo pressure, and the spec will be closer but not past a Supra, but the Z will have more power. I think the Supra looks dated, but I dont think the Z does. It was never really a fasionable shape and no car company really copied the shape after. The Supra it a typical early 90s looking car. Rounded body and bumper, while the Z has more lines and contours. The Supra may be slightly faster than a Z, both stock, but for me that is the only thing it has over it. The Supra does not look as good as the Z. The Inline 6 sound will never be as good as the V6, that is why on the film "2 Fast 2 Furious" they dubbed a 300ZX engine over the Supra. The Supra hasn't got close to half the history as a Z. I love my Z. :D

I think its 286 f/lb @3600rpm. Which is quite a lot and at a good position in the rev range. Stuart
