Airfield Trackday Part 3. Location?
Come on, there are more than 4 people interested in this before.

Airfield Trackday Part 3. Location?
Additional note. Stuart asked about tuition on the track. I aksed about this and depending on how many people their are going, for about £10 each we will get a qualified instructor to teach us racing techniques, such as braking where to turn etc. He/She will be dedicated to our group for the whole day. So if that is an extra we would like, we can discuss it later. Stuart

Airfield Trackday Part 3. Location?
Where would you like the track day to be held? We have two choices which are Elvington Elvington is located about 7 miles south of York. It's aprox. 70miles from Manchester and 210 miles from London. The diagram below shows the layout of the track. Binbrook Binbrook is a few miles south from Grimsby. It's aprox. 120 miles from Manchester and 170 from London. Below is a photograph of the area of airfield we will be using with the track highlighted. Where would you like the day to be held?

Low oil pressure????
My thoughts exactly. For the £80-£90 that it cost for the sender I bought 2 of my dials and had change left over.

The 240Z was called so becuase it had a 2.4 litre engine. The 260Z was called so because it had a 2.6 litre engine. The 280ZX was called so because it had a 2.8 litre engine. The 300ZX (Z31) was called so because it had a 3 litre engine. The 300ZX (Z32) was called so because it had a 3 litre engine. The 350Z is called so because it has a 3.5 litre engine. So I dont see the logic in your argument. If you are going make fun of the origin of the car's name, have the decency to find a little bit about why it is called what it is first. Stuart

t piece for water temp guage
you are better off pluming in your sender in some where else. You can buy hard pipe with your sender ready to be put in from Smithy. I used the black Nissan sender to work my gauge as it gives the correct resistance to for my other dial. Stuart

NZR : Messenger service Windows
what type of pop up is it? Is it a grey box with the OK button it is it a proper advert? If it is a proper advert, install adaware and it will get rid of adverts from your registry. Stuart

Would you be interested in a Airfield Trackday?
Right. If there are more people from the south of the country coming, there is a possibiltiy of holding it at Binbrook which is near Grimsby. Elvington is 210 miles from London and 70 miles from Manchester. The treck from South particual isn't huge one but is a still some distance. Binbrook is 50 miles further south so its 170 miles from London and 120 miles from Manchester. Would people prefer it to be at Binbrook rather than Elvington? Air view Binbrook Air Field track I have seen a video of a lap at Elvington and Binbrook looks more interesting. Please post your views. Stuart

Fitting Replacement Dials
You should have a small box called and inverter and there either should be some plugs on it or a wire with plugs on. The dials should fit over your stock one by sliding the needle through the hole in the middle and it should fit over the black part of the needle. You then need to plug the dials into the inverter some. The inverter needs to be powered and it is easiest to get a feed from one of the dash lights. unscrew one of the bulbs and then attach the earth of the inverter to one side of the bulb holder and the live to the other. Put the bulb back in making sure the bulb connections make contact with the dash to get power. Test this by turning on the lights and see if it lights up. The dials should light up, if not take out the bulb holder and turn it 180º so wores are on the other side from what they where. If the connection is good, the dials will light up with the dash. Hope this helps Where you get the dials from as the US dials work on a different scale to UK and Jap dials Stuart

You really need a imaging package such as photo shop or Paint Shop Pro. Stuart

off topic but...
When the car stalls for no reason, do the dash lights come on, as if they do there is still power getting to the car and wont be an earthing problem

I doubt the Euro Z has the least power considering the fuel is quite a bit better than the US and there are no power laws like in Japan. Stuart
