Its not my Z that is the victim here, but my daily run around which I take just as much care of as my Z. Nice little red Corsa which saves me loads on fuel and believe it or not insurance too. It is in good condition but thanks to other w***kers its took a turn to the worse.! A week ago I get I notice my front bumper was hanging off slightly where some one had hit it. Hot hard. It didnt dent anything but it was hard enough to snap the clip which holds the bumper on. So now its hanging off on one side and looks a mess. 6 days ago I returned to my car in the works carpark to find the door unlocked and when I sat in the car, the seat was right back and the horn ripped off. I went and got a tourch from work to inspect the rest, as it was 8pm at night and dark. I then find some one had ripped my door open. It would close but the top of the door frame was bent so much there was a 3 inch gap at the top of the door now. Yesterday I take my mum to home base for some wall paper. We where gone maybe 10 mins, I came back and found 3 vertical scratches about 3-4 inches in length where some one has obviously take a few climsy attempts to open their door on to mine. What's the point of looking after a car when other people can make it a state in a space of a few days? I just had to moan. :( Stuart

As long as you had a insurance note with your new reg on you are fine.

I think it is how people ride them though. My dads has only been stopped a few times in his 30 years of riding.

The computer readouts of numberplate are automatic now, depending on what system they have. If you drive past a police car in the opposite direction their camera will read your plate and check it out and say whether the car is taxed, MOTd or if the owner has a warrent for their arrest and such. But that is IF they had that system. I have been followed once the the police in the first week of having the car. Stuart

Because computers are dumb f**ks, and the people who program them are dumb f**ks too. The computer cant handle it if a character is not where it should be. The bigest problem is Motorbike plates where the reg is at the top and then the numbers on the next line and then the letters on another.

YOu cant say one car is unreliable and another is. Its just the luck of the draw sometimes.

By the sounds of it, those gear ratios of yours are correct except 4th which should do 140mph and 5th about 180. I have never got 70 in 2nd. Is your car a Twin Turbo? Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? You sould be on saftey boost, but you say you have a code 55. Strange.

This one is my dad's funny thing not mine. Well its not him with the funny thing. years and years ago my dad did loads of work on cars welding and stuff because money was short. One day he was welding underneath the car. As people know weld know, that the sparks fly every where and often burn small holes in your clothes and if any fall on cloth interior it could set fire to it. Anyway, welding away with sparks flying a few landed inside the back seats as he was welding under the rear seats and had the door open. A fire started, but luckly a neighbour was walking by. He noticed the fire starting to brew in the rear seats and asked "Colin? Are you under there?" Enquiring if my dad was under the car. My dad replied yes, and the neighbour said OK and went on his way. A few mins later my dad appeared from under the car because he could smell the fire, and quickly put it out. He asked this neighbour why he didnt tell him the seats where on fire when he saw it. He replied, "I thought you needed it like that" :confused: Stuart

The auto box is a very complicated system. If will change gear when it is best, and I think if you floor it, it will change gear at red line.

I think the Manual and Auto cams are different. Do the Manual ones stay open slightly longer? The Auto turbos are also slightly smaller. But not much

Oh dear Manual v Auto ;) That is a no no no no no no no no area. They both perform exactly the same. One you change the gear yourself and you have more control over it, but driving in traffic is a pain, The other will change gear quicker but you have little choice of when it changes. If you drive in traffic a lot an Auto may be better for you. Stuart

If you car is an import you can the same sized number plate on as the country it came from. So you can have a Japanese sized plate on yours. But everything else must be UK spec, like font, colours, spacing

I will have to pull out but there are plenty of people who want to go. ;) Reasons are I wanted to go Pod with a friend of mine and I cant afford to drive down there for the RR and then again for Pod. I dont think my friend wants to sleep over their too. I was going to go with my Misses but it would have bored her to death. ;) Stuart

No because the ones in Japan run on 100RON fuel which is a lot different to our 95RON. Plus there where GTZRs made with 450BHP standard, they are faster ;)

Save As Here This is a small video clip of doing a launch with the Traction Control I have. When I did this my car was stock besides the Mongoose Exhaust, which makes a little difference to the sound. Most Zs have an aftermarket exhaust on anyway. The other video which you saw/heard the car then had decatted, induction and the exhaust.

Sounds like it has been wired up wrong at some time or another or its losing its feed from the batter when you turn the ignition off.

Is it for an Import ZX or UK ZX. The Import ones are cheaper :mad:

If you was wondering what I was trying to do, my car kept spitting flames out for about 2 weeks. I tried to catch it on film but it never did it again. :mad:

That thing with the 2 pipes is the HICAS. So its got to be where the steering fluid goes.

Do you have the DIVX codec installed?
