What the ones which are a metal "Z"? Gold dust now mate apparently. Not very many left.
  2. DOH! I am sure you can get it cheaper than the £1000. I remember a thread a few years ago about it and people said the £1000 was terrible. I think Ajay have had a windscreen or 2.
  3. Do you have windscreen cover?
  4. That was cheap. I have heard quote of £1000
  5. I think you will stuggle for a standard one though. Even down to exhaust because people replace it for a SS one. My history for my car shows each Nissan exhaust costs averages £450 and lasted for 3 years. £100 more and you can get a SS one which should last forever if looked after.
  6. Will any of the masses of meeting pictures be added to the site?
  7. Plus find a over 10 year old standard car where the injectors and engine are running perfectly. Stuart
  8. Problem with trying to centralise something like that, after a while you end up with hundreds of dead links as people remove thier stuff or it gets deleted. AndyP site links to many write-ups but more and dead links are creaping in and there is nothing you can do about it. I looked at the Skyline forum, and the links on there, about 1/2 where dead which is very off putting. Stuart
  9. If you want to take a pic of somethign like that, you have to get the light right so you can see it when looking through the camera and then dont use a flash if you can. A flash will over load it with light
  10. It is probably the housing of the washer which has split, or the rubber seal around the metal part with the holes in, which has perished. Have you checked the hose which attaches to the nozzel? If it is not the squirter which has split or leaking slightly, the only other way it could leak is if the washer pump is pumping very very lightly all the time and I really doubt its that ;) Im sure chaning the washer will do it. Its probably over 10 years old now anyway,. Stuart
  11. When you put your foot to the floor you are using the amount of air and fuel as if the engine was very high in the rev range, which can make the engine run worse as I understand. Stuart
  12. Yeah thanks. I have looked in Machine Mart and found some stuff. I have found a place on the internet which sells stuff for a lot cheaper than there. Engine stand/trolley ;) (It has wheels it can be rolled around so its a trolley;)) for £50. 1000lb/450kg, which I think is enough. Baggins, what wher eyou doing trying to carry a Z engine around? I carried a 850 Suzuki bike engine on my owen for about 10 metres, that was really heavy. Any heavier and I dont think I would have been able to carry it. Stuart
  13. Its not just autos. With my manual when over taking I actually get more acceleration when I slowly press the pedal down.

Does no one remember the 2+2 TT hard top for sale in Japan? £20,000. It was a 2000 spec, (Probably one of the last) and only had 1000km, just over 600miles  Stuart
  15. Its always worth traveling for a good mechanic. It will only take an hour or so to get to Manchester. Stuart
  16. How heavy is the ZX engine? I need to buy a engine trolly but need to know the weight of the engine first. Stuart
  17. Is it leaking from the washers? Could be the washers are old and need replacing. Only £7 or so from Nissan.
  18. UK spec rear suspention is higher spec than the Jap and thus cost more.

So what are you getting? A RX7 which is nice and light but you will have to pay loads go get 400bhp out if it? You gonna get a Supra where you will have the same problem because I think they are slighly heavier then the Z. Skyline? Then you will be in MAC's bad books for the rest of your life. Not cheap to insure or run. GT-Four? Nice car but not as powerful as the Z and not as fast standard. To get it 400bhp you will have to more than double the standard power. Thats not cheap. Subaru? Oh god please no!.
  20. I have solved the problem. No need for any increase in fuel pressure, or need to move up North. I have named the all of the left bank cylinders number 1 and the right cylinder 2. I will never have the cylinder 6 or 5 problem then ;) Stuart

The GT-Four are no where near as fast. 180-200bhp standard on a 4WD you will only get about 100-120 at the wheels.

Cath's mum has one of those. YOu going to be selling your Z now?
  23. Like its going to make any difference at all. I still get 3-4 a day on him hotmail. At one time I was getting over 10.
  24. Just trying to get my sense of humour prepaired for when I try a rebuild. I will need it.
