  1. Some info that may be of help......... Assuming you have a Jspec with a standard KPH cluster, then what you 'Could' do is simply remove the MPH clock from the UK cluster and fit it into the Jspec cluster, and it'll work....... There are two screws.... (as marked below) You'll notice that your Jspec assembly has the screw in the right side screw hole and the one I've posted above is in the left side hole. That's because I've got a UK MPH clock fitted to my original Jspec cluster. The cluster backing sheet has '10k' and '100k' printed on it (10k for the MPH clock and 100k for the KPH clock) So in doing this you still retain the original odometer reading (all be it still reading, and counting in, Kilometres) for you Zed. The speedo will read perfectly in MPH, which, I assume, is what you want! Anyway, I hope that helps, in some way! Dave
  2. 'You can only please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time'
  3. I can't remember how much vinyl I used the first time round, but I used the majority of a full hide when I re-did it in leather.... if that's of any help ;)
  4. A bit of a technical question for anyone who knows the answer for sure! What are the symptoms (and NO, I'm not talking about the yellow skinned family from Springfield!!! ;) ) if the ECU Water Temp Sender fails? As in, it is telling the ECU that the water is permanently COLD! And how could this be tested? Thanks in advance! Dave
  5. It's not a million miles from me, but still isnt central for the Northern lads n lasses! Not very good thinking on the part of the organises, especially considering that some thought that Peterborough was too far, they now put it in the bottom corner ;) Arr well, we'll see :D at least it isnt bank holiday weekend!
  6. Well I did rejoin at the beginning of January, so that must mean something (although that was probably the last time I was on here  ) Going to try and make it to as many shows as I can this year, weather permitting again! So I should see some of you there :D
  7. Hello :D I'm back! Not been here hardly at all this year so far, so thought I'd best 'pop In' to say Hiya ;) I've still got Eliza and using here everyday for work and going down to Karen's. All is about to change, hopefully soon, as my apartment will be up for sale this weekend as I'm moving down Leicester way and will be buying a house with Karen. Totally sick to death of not being with her regularly, as I'm only getting to see her once a week, and I want a lot more than that. Still, currently, working in Grantham, so a much more economical Diesel runabout will be sought (In fact may even of found one already) Have i missed much? :D Dave
  8. Nero isn't quite straight forward as some may make out, it's best to know what you are doing to be able to obtain the best from it! (And YES, I use it all the time ;) ) A straight forward, and TOTALLY FREE, down-loadable DVD authoring/burning program is available from Sothink Media, web addy here for the download >> http://www.sothinkmedia.com/movie-dvd-maker/index.htm It's a No-Frills burner prog, that will simply burn your AVI's etc onto a blank disc that you can then play in most standard DVD players (I say most, as some players WONT play non-original discs) You won't get any fancy menu's etc, so your film will play straight away, but it's about as simply as you can get! Hope that is of help to you Dave
  9. Dave, and others, I've looked into this before as I've been running with a small size plate for about 3 years now. I got pulled last year and 'bluffed' my way out of any problem with the excuse of the 'Imported odd size restricted plate rule' and got away with it. BUT, that rule only applies to the rear, or in exceptional circumstances to very limited numbers of fronts, and ours ARN'T included in the front circumstance simply because you CAN fit a standard size UK plate. It refers to the "motorcycle size number plate indent" which an imported Zed would have in the rear bumper, but you can clearly fit a normal UK plate to the front as there is no physical restriction to stop you. So in short, it's illegal! :D
  10. I'd also like to keep this 'On-Topic', so I'll only post the link ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=927278&postcount=186 Hope you like it, but alas I won't be doing anything similar in the near future, as it was too much of a headache the first time around! PS - Yes it's me there also, and her name is Stacy.
  11.  Basically I organised a little photo shoot for some of the members last year, and a select few, of mine, just happen to appear in my rides section ;)
  12. Can you read Japanese then? Because it's not in the Uk handbook, as it's a JSpec only device! Overdrive, yes, but not the Hold/Power button.
  13. I need my wheel recovering, but couldn't find anyone prepared to do it. Yeah the MOMO one is very nice indeed, if you're not sticking to the OEM look, and would compliment the MOMO handbrake you're after :D
  14. No problem bud. If you decide to do any of the jobs I've commented on above, and would like some more detailed info, then simply give me a shout and I'll see what i can do.
  15. You simply shouldn't be using it at that sort of speed, it'll fook up the auto box. It's only for starting off in bad/slippery conditions. Dave
  16. NAVAN did one for the Z32, with or without the Cruise buttons on, so would fit straight onto the hub.... Without... With Cruise... Now the problem..... Even IF you could find one, you're probably looking at around the £700 mark! Which puts it out of most people's limits. Dave
  17. Let's see......... But first, you're asking a lot of one person, and it simply isn't going to happen! Hope that is of some help to you? All the best with it, and I hope you have a good job/credit card, as, by the sounds of it, you're gona need it!! Dave
  18. Nicely put Nick ;)
  19. Just thought of this little quick quiz, hope you like it :) In the start titles of some of the Carry-On films, they showed 'Alternate' titles for the film, this quiz is all about identifying the original title from the alternate one/s..... Best of luck, and remember it's just for fun, you don't have to 'Phone In' for this one ;) 1) "The African Queens" or "Stop Beating About The Bush" or "Show Me Your Waterhole And I'll Show You Mine" 2) "It's Not What You Feel, It's The Way That You Feel It" or "Two's Company But Three's Quite Good Fun Too" or "Love Is A Four Letter Word" or "It's Just One Thing On Top Of Another" 3) "The British Position In India" 4) "Let Sleeping Bags Lie" 5) "Where There's A Pill There's A Way" or "The Bowels Are Ringing" or "If You Say It's Your Thermometer I'll Have To Believe You, But It's A Funny Place To Put It" 6) "Mind My Chopper" 7) "Down The Spout" or "Ladies Please Be Seated" or "Up The Workers" or "Labour Relations Are The People Who Come To See You When You're Having A Baby" 8) "From Here To Maternity" or "Familiarity Breeds" or "Womb At The Top" or "The Preggers Opera" 9) "What A Package" or "It's All In" or "Swiss Hols In The Snow" That's it, that's your lot, have fun and enjoy :D
  20. JESUS!! :nono: I think arguing other peoples opinions is a bit silly isn't it? Thought I was in my lads playground there for a minute, and he's only 10! And, yes Si, Worksop is an hole! Well it has been every time I've driven past on the A57 :D........ Nope, hang-on, I remember now I had to find my way out of the place once, when I had no idea where the **** I was! :D
  21. Never bothered me, I think she's fantastic, would love to see here live!
  22. Actually I 'Could' of found exactly what you said, but it wouldn't of lasted very long on here!!
  23. :nono: :nono: That's just conjured up an interesting image in my mind! I couldn't find a picture of what you've requested, she's only holding a fag in this one ;)
  24. But surely, it's the fact that it won't stay covered up for long!!!!
