Ive just got a dash kits USA RHD kit arrived Are there any particullar tips for fitting - bacause it looks fiddly as fook - and i dont do fiddly well

Boot/Fuel release has been relocated buddy. Neons are not everyones cup of tea, neither are Z's, smoking, women, and drugs - but some people like them haha Thanks for all the posative comments, and yea when finished - if you like it - ill come round and pu the first two layers on your Z, the rest is easy (sort of lol).

Yea - sometimes i do think, im going a bit overkill with neons etc, but when you see it at night with green neons under it, and blue glow from the inside , you realise it looks awsome The Z can pull it off, although there is another one around my hometown and it has neons and looks absolutely shite - dont know why - i think its cuz they are cheap halfords shit and not the proper Litewave/Eurolite LEDs Still 50 percent of the time i get praise, and the other 50 percent havent seem them at night yet hahaha

Just though id post some pics of my work in progress boot install. Feel free to leave any comments etc. PS. Fibreglass cuts your hands to pieces !! :wack: Idea is to have the nitrous bottle at the back, with two 36" blue neons running its length, and tread plate floor in the boot. Got all this ready to go in. 12" Sub box has got to be fillered and smoothed into the square section at the back of the fibreglass build, and two eight inch subs either side Already spent two days on it - now at the stage of sanding down the top coat of filler, and drinking tea a lot. By sunday night i should be ready to install the amps, subs, neons etc (i hope - but i think thats optimistic). Trouble is im driving to the Bristol meet sunday, with no tunes ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I shall just have to be deaffened by the exhaust note instead :xxx: Also put some neons in the cabin - as im sad like that haha If anyone wants any help with doing a fibreglass install let me know, and ill do my best to give you any tips and help i can with sourcing affordable resins Like i said - let me know what you think Mike

This saturday, we are having a meet in Bristol if anyones interested. We shall be at Gordano services by about 6 -6.30 pm ish. WE (UJCC) meet at exeter services 2pm on the first sunday of every month - normally getting around a 40+ car turnout. Your welcome to pop along - normally about 4 Z's there.

Thanks chrisP - may have to get one of them Legrath - Ive installed the drivers for the lead etc - i connect it all up and when i click the Datascan symbol - it just says Error code ????? It used to come up with a screen where you could press "Diagnostic Test" but now it doesnt - if the lead is connected or not i get the same message when i click on Datascan Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but its exactly the same - any ideas mate Ps - appreciate this

Im not using a genuine Conzult - its been made to work with datascan Just need a lead that convert USB to seriel - and that works, because th standard (but it in staples) jobs - dont work

Hi all Anyone using datascan on their Conzult system - via USB to lap top ? Having difficulty with the USB connection - is there a special approved lead i can get anywhere ? Thanks for any help - Mike :tongue:

I want to fit some of the chrome m3 mirrors from halfords. Trouble is (obviously) they dont do a 300zx back plate to fit the mirrors to Just wondered if anyone has experimented fitting these ? And if so which back plates did they buy and modify ? Im simply not spending 250 quid on Veilside ones. So £40 for a trial on M3 ones seems fair to me Bring on the slagging off ......................................
