Isn't there something about the radiator support bracket?. Rusts cracks then allows the tension rod to move ?

Yeah I've sent a few emails about rebuilding them. Apparently there not like normal ones and cannot be done at home. So need to be sent away just waiting on prices I never launch my cars and always smooth with my gears and take time pushing them in. Plus I do about 50 miles a year she should last for ever. I might be just cause it was dry. We shall see Off on a 4 hour trip tomorrow to Noel to get my car mapped :biggrin:

Think I've found the problem of the worn cliky prop. Well there was no bloody grease in the uj. Poped out and bought a grease gun and stared pumping it in. She'd loads went in and next to nothing came out and what did was black. So spun the wheels buy hand and now it's smooth and silent. Still a smidge of play but what prop hasn't :) Rep for the guys that offered help

Found the problem. All the vibration when slowing down is purly down to .well errm the vibration and the sound of the exhaust :lol::lol: But i have also found play in the UJ at the rear of the new prop. with the car jacked up and you turn the wheel by hand it all clicks. will have to see if jeff can sort me out with something?
