  1. Think I've found the problem of the worn cliky prop. Well there was no bloody grease in the uj. Poped out and bought a grease gun and stared pumping it in. She'd loads went in and next to nothing came out and what did was black. So spun the wheels buy hand and now it's smooth and silent. Still a smidge of play but what prop hasn't :) Rep for the guys that offered help

  3. Found the problem. All the vibration when slowing down is purly down to .well errm the vibration and the sound of the exhaust :lol::lol: But i have also found play in the UJ at the rear of the new prop. with the car jacked up and you turn the wheel by hand it all clicks. will have to see if jeff can sort me out with something?

  5. Will have a look there is no grinding everything is nice and smooth up to 80. Could the prop be out of balance or the worn uj joint? You can get universal ones off eBay. Any ideas? A monaro vxr is looking mighty tempting now
  6. Forgot to say you get the knock when you change gear of take your foot on or off the throttle
  7. The prop I got was off Jeff and my old man said there was quite a bit of play in it when we got it Diff was off an unknown car. Think it was Sandy old one. Yeah will be trying it up in the air trick

  11. How do you know if the diff is buggered? Tonight was the 1st time I gave it some beans and about 80ish I got like a loud wiring and a slight vibration in e rear any ideas? Or a dodgy wheel bearing. Or a fooked one piece prop?

  20. just need some 3 mm silicone pipe and an old jam jar. put new fluid in the jar so it goes over the pipe and just pump away easy :)
