  1. I did mine on the steering wheel, 2 x push buttons, one horn and other start. I kept imobiliser/alarm etc so you turn key normal but nothing happens on the start bit. I always thought it was cool. Still need to sale my wheel if anyone wants it!
  2. standard ecu would flood fuel i think as the 555 injectors flow more, hence chip change. Not that i ever tryed a standard chip while running bigger injectors. 555's are purple colour if i remember rite
  3. I am wondering if its 3000 or 4000cfm myself now, the 4000 was $325 and 3000 was $265, shrouds sold seperately for $99. I have to post you the paperwork i got sometime joel

  6. My j l audio set-up was 2 x 100w components to fronts, 2 x 25w rear components and 250 w sub in boot, awesome sound running off 500/5 w amp.

  9. Good look at electrical connectors under the hood wouldnt hurt, pull off clean up make sure back on well type thing.
  10. Just to check i would swap the wires under the hood left to right if you follow me just to show if the other sensor is good to start with.

  12. Dont want to upset but i think the ecu is not happy intill you get to 80deg (or something like that) and changes the map/mixture thinking the cars cold.
  13. If its the ptu the series 2 are supposed to be non breakable
  14. Sorry i checked saturday and didnt see any info where and as i havent been to a meet before wasnt sure if it was still on, went out for the night and didnt come home till half way though the next day. Another time i remember to be ready and check on the day.

  16. did you block off the NC port, i think the port you dont use has to stay open, but i could be wrong
  17. the wastegates are shut intill the point you reach desired boost level, then the wastegates open and release any extra exhaust pressure away from the turbos. To the atmosphere instead of the main exhaust route, any less pressure in the main exhausts helps as far as i know.
  18. I have alot of lightened stuff and same as, a friend of mine thinks the heavy stuff helps momentum. I'm nun the wiser which is best really!
  19. have a listen for any any air leaks, to give you an idea pull say a vac pipe off the balance bar for a few secs. There is alot of air lines, i have junked most of mine. Your mate seems to like the sound of the engine!
