  1. I nearly did it but the skyline one does connect straight up but it does not control all the zeds functions and cannot be configured to either so yes it can be used but to be honest its not worth it with all the other ecu's you can now get ie aem or emerald etc Mike
  2. Alot ;) Pentroof is a tuning company in japan and this is one of their demo cars so its very very special :) Pentroof are one of the leading tuners/developers of 300zx's in the world ;) http://www.pentroof.co.jp/news.php http://www.pentroof.co.jp/report/report.php?ga_code=10078 Mike
  3. Nice one, now have yourself a beer and pat yourself on the back ;) not many people will put their money where their mouth is and buy something as special as that and i hope it gives you many years of fun  Was a pleasure doing business with you Simon and if you need anything just let me know :) Cant wait to see it all cleaned and polished up now :smash: Oh and Jurgen is finally getting his wheels back tomorrow LOL Speak soon Mike
  4. you should be chuffed that people use your car as the yard stick for performance zeds ;)
  5. i think the weight distribution is better on the LWB hence why it handles better in standard form ;) Mike
  6. I'll have you know i'm on a diet  and i dont like KFC  My 2+2 was about 1700 kg's but that was with 30kg's worth of ice in there. The slicktop when weighed coming in from japan was 1300 kg hence the 400kg difference so unless your telling me yours weighs less than 1700 ish then 400 i would guess is about right ;) its all them heavy seats, glass targas and extra under body strength :) Mike
  7. well i did say until you get the fueling sorted ;) even then with the weight difference it would be "interesting" ;) Mike
  8. LOL Well i guess we all have thought about putting decent power into a slicktop as its technically the best model to do it in but no one has ever done it. The car itself has alot more on it that we originally thought ;) When i bought it i knew it was meant to be around a 600 rwhp car and had a very impressive engine spec ie cams, 3.2 ltr, td05 turbos etc but it was a nice suprise to find out it had the brakes well sorted with alcons and the suspension is ohlins which again is about the best money can buy!! its also got ARC adjustable roll bars front and back and tein ajustable arms as well ;) So it does handle like its on rails. Be interesting to see how it fairs on the 1/4 mile strip With regards to macs car, until mac sorts his fueling out etc its porbably running more power and about 400kg lighter so you do the sums  Mike
  9. Yeh but trixie is not all she's lead people to believe if you know what i mean (meat and two veg) and bubbles is that idiot from big brother
  10. Just realised i'm upto 6000 posts  Only taken me several years LOL Mike
  11. I aye bud, a car like that would need to be done as a private import and paid for upfront as its a big risk to just bring it in and risk either having it for months or letting it go cheaper and losing loads of money!! Nice car though :) Mike
  12. Yes but as i said on the phone it may also make it a little more "easier to drive" as lower speeds which will transform the car bud. Theres nothing you can do about the clutch as its a big power car so it needs a big power clutch ;) i know its not the easiest clutch to live with but you will get used to it and the power :) and my offer of £52.50 with porn always stands LOL
  13. £52.50 and the girl AND her twin sister :D
  14. LOL £30 and my good old collection of porn on dvd
  15. main problem is its hard to detune the car as its got everything, ie massive cams, turbos etc the worse thing about what pauls said is he is only running it at 1.1-1.2 ish bar and once mapped it will run at around 1.5-1.6 bar  Mike
  16. LOL aye its a bit of a handful ;) Its certainly got a spec to die for in a slicktop with lighter seats etc so its pretty light as well so that combination is always gonna make it a mental car. I still think you should wait till its fully mapped up on the AEM and then think about it. I'll give you a tenner for it and take it off your hands
  17. I have to agree, i have tried to buy 5 or 6 zed over the last few months only to be told that there really rough or not as described :( As Lee says you just have to be patient and the right car does come along :) Mike
  18. Its about £12-13k on the road over here, not cheap but with the mileage and condition i dont think its bad ;)
  19. Just remembered theres this one. 1997 Midnight Purple TT Manual LWB Its completly standard and has 11,000 KM on the clock  So its basically a new car!! but its not cheap so it depends on your budget Mike
  20. Hi mate Purple ones do come up and yes some without spoilers, all depends on how much you have to spend as decent newer models ie 95+ tend to still fetch good money!! The purple on i just imported was a 99 spec but was made to look like one, be it very very well done ;) I can keep an eye out if you want me to?? Cheers Mike
  21. depending on condition between 3 and 4k
  22. any turbo place should sell them, turbo technics etc
  23. bloody hell i'm lucky if i get a cream egg LOL
  24. i would go 235 40 18 front and 265 35 18 rear, possibly go upto 275 or 285 you should go for falkens, i really rate them ;) Mike
