tell me about it!! my first house was a new build 3 bed semi which i bought for £48k and had a £45k mortgage and made the mistake of staying there for 8 years and kept adding to the house which i never got the money back when i sold it so didnt make that much on the house :( so i now have a house with a £180k mortgage :nelson: to be honest i would rather go back to having a 3 bed semi and have half the size mortgage and have toys again :D

nice one bud, finally eh ;: which hks turbos are they?? you should be able to see the hks plaque on the front low mount turbo to see which model ones they are Also i would get an apexi ecu and hand controller and get it mapped right just to make sure and you will also make more power than a chip :) At least its got some nice bits on it which will save you a small fortune :) How does it compare? i was a bit dissapointed with my R33 which was running around 450 bhp, just never felt that quick as its a big car LOL Mike

it is difficult to get used to but bear with it, it is a very good OS and once you get the hand of it you will see that ;)

i would have thought upto 30-40mph it would be pretty close as his will be in the powerband earlier but after that you would pull away like he was going backwards ;)

i think standard is 35 front and 38 rear but anywhere around the 30-38 is fine :)

the os giken gear set is rated up to 800 bhp as is the ppg gear set but thats a dog exchange so it wont be the nicest car to drive and will wine like a dog on heat ;)

i agree, what i meant is if you were in the market for an R8 then i dont think i could honestly pick it over a 430 or db9?? nice car and all that and no doubting its credentials but which would you rather have on your drive?? sorry if it was any car around the £100k mark then it would have to be a 430 or db9, the R8 wouldnt get a sniff ;)

both really, the commercial stuff will make up i would have thought about 90% of all our business but obviously theres more mark up in the domestic higher end stuff like amtico etc but as a new business were looking at all types at the moment ;) beggers cant be choosers :D Cheers Mike

then the new ecu would need a fuel MAP :D i ran the AEM ecu with a 3.5 bar MAP sensor, much easier when building a high power car

when i say MAP i mean an new ecu which uses a MAP sensor and gets rid of the MAF LOL confusing i know Mike

yeh been looking at them, wont be spending as much as that on the first van but once the business is up and running with regular work then i will be leasing a nice new van like the vivaro :)

yeh mainly the vinyl flooring, they dont fit laminate as its just not worth it

tbh if your gonna spend near on £100k on an R8 would you get an R8 or a ferrari 430 or maybe an aston?? problem with the R8 is its just to expensive, if it had been around the £50k mark then i think it would have been a real contender but its not, its around £75k standard and theres still a £20k+ premium :shock:

you could wire a q45 maf up which is massive but tbh if you need to go down the route of running a higher output maf then you should be thinking of going for a map setup anyway ;)

i can imagine :( i think 90% of our work will come from commercial work which is less money but will keep it ticking over and when a few domestic ones come along then thats the profitt :D just need a decent van now LOL cant believe i'm looking for a bloody van, all the nice cars ive had and its ended up like this :tongue:
