  1. Well you will need the air intake sensor, you will need the dual uego kit as its a twin setup, unless your going stupid power then you dont really need the ignition module and i would recommend getting the 3.5 bar map sensor then you can ditch the AFM :) Mike
  2. aye would need to lose the mats and the silly bandana thing around the steering column but apart from that its a pure sleeper, oem outside and in, well apart from a few guages :)
  3. trust me if i had the money i would be bidding on it as its perfect in everyway!! but with the new business just getting going and starting my new job ive no spare money :( if anyones interested heres the link to the jap auction site, not cheap, i would imagine about £13k ish otr but you would need to speak to an importer to get some exact figures :) http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b88917255 Mike
  4. God i wish i had some money spare. Red, Slicktop, Volk Rims, No Silly Bodykits etc  Oh and about 800 bhp :hyper::bow: Why am i always skint when cars like this come up :headvswal Mike
  5. tbh looked pretty close, loved the way the rs4 accelerated out of the corner but then again he has 4wd LOL but the torque of the zed took you past but as i said not much in it really :) Mike
  6. for 500 bhp i would say an os giken twin, then the rps carbon twin like macs got, i wouldnt say anything else as it will just wear out fairly quick on a genuine 500 bhp, both very good clutches but obviously cost wise the os is much cheaper and can handle upto 600 bhp with a good feel and a decent bite, the carbon is still a little snatchy but rated to over 1000 bhp!!! so great clutch but as mac says not cheap at £1500-£1600 LOL Mike
  7. they also make the HKS injectors as well :)
  8. its not just the failure rate, alot of them flow badly and at different rates, i know there was someone who flow tested the venom ones, think they were 550cc ones and they ranged from 570 to 350cc and one of them would not flow at all!! all of them were a new set as well. when it comes to stuff like injectors its just not worth cutting corners with cheaper injectors!! also just to answer the nismo ones, i have not heard of any failing?? and thats from here and the GTR club so that tells you about the reliability of the nismo ones!! Mike
  9. sard are one of the best injectors you can get :)
  10. are you having it remapped on the dyno?? if your not then i wouldnt have thought there would be much bhp difference, may run better with the bits you have done? what management did it have? Mike
  11. yeh were looking at getting her a new car possibly a C2 or similar, not quite the same as the mini but she drives 3 miles to work and back and to the shops and thats it, if she goes further than 5 miles she gets a nose bleed
  12. my wife has one and we both love it, nippy, handles well etc but it does have a hard ride and the fuel economy is crap LOL my wife is thinking of selling hers as its costing her a fortune in fuel as she has a heavy foot apart from the exhaust its pretty much a JCW model but to be honest i wouldnt bother with the premium of the JCW model as its 3 mph faster top end and 0.4 sec quicker to 60 and for £4k its hardly worth it ;) Mike
  13. i would go and see a solicitor as it sounds like the house was not acceptable anyway so you would have a case as to why you didnt pay the rent but i would get some advice asap bud Mike
  14. come on :) well done boys, well deserved and caps off a great season. not much in it though, flip of a coin!! Mike
  15. unless your running big power i wouldnt bother and you would also need 2 of them, one for each bank ;)
  16. some people have different views on running in, some say put it under load straight away to set the rings and tbh we always run it at 4000 revs on start up for a few minutes as once there set there set, once this has done we have done 1000 miles run in, first 250 under 3000 revs then oil change with cheapest crappy oil then on the 4th change put decent oil in and get it mapped etc on full power :) Mike
  17. pompey's name is on the cup no doubt, i have never seen a team have so much luck getting to the final so surely it wont run out now??
  18. email them to me mike@kirbz-zed.co.uk Mike
  19. you have to remember, there are people on here who know these cars inside out and know for a FACT that unless the car has been heavily and i mean heavily modified that theres no way it will be running that kind of boost so to be serious for a second forget how much boost your car is running as its clearly giving you a wrong reading, at most you want your car boosting to around 14 psi which about the max your gonna get on a pretty much standard car, if its not detting then its likely you have an aftermarket chip to increase the fueling but to check remove the ecu from the passanger footwell and open it up to see if its a different chip. So lets look at the facts, if i was to take an educated guess as to whats happened to your car i would say first of all it was running standard boost and if your new to these cars they are still rapid on oem boost, then you fitted a boost controller and its been fitted wrong and is reading from the wrong source or something similar, since fitting the controller your car has now gone into safety boost so has cut the boost by half making it feel slow again!! Just out of curiosity take a look at the front of your plenum down each side and tell me if there is a plug each side which is unplugged?? Mike
  20. the rows is basically the thickness of the intercooler, the difference between the 2 row and 3 row is about an inch ish so if you were going for medium power then the 2 row would be enough to cool the intake temps but if you were going mad then go for the thicker 3 row. the core is a different thing, the single core is designed for a single inlet car ie a 200sx etc so has one feed in and one feed out, the twin is obviously for a twin in and twin out like our cars :) HTH Mike
  21. LOL The guy who i use does all the porsche wheels ;) he is the only official person they can use to refuen all the kerbed wheels All i will say is he is very very good but very busy so its hard to get him tied down sometimes Mike
  22. the guy near me does them, in fact he did your wheels pete :D
  23. chris, how much do you want for your car??
  24. i also liked he fact that you only pay a deposit with these and pay for the spa after its been installed and your happy with it :)
  25. got mine from here http://www.bluewavespas.co.uk/lx7000.html couldnt recommend them enough, very helpful and the installation was amazing as i have 36 1/4" between mine and next doors wall and the hot tub is 36" deep :D so it was pretty tight LOL we went to buy the LX5000 but once you get 3 people in its a little cramped, so we ended up with the LX8000 :) Mike (prices are on the site)
