Worlds strongest man
Yes. Watch it every year. Though he came 3rd in 2004 he was subsequently found in breach of rules and regs and took a one year ban. Just found this: http://www.btinternet.com/~m.d.pratesi/mp/WSMindex.html Apparently it was the Lithuanian in 2002, Savickas. Seem to remember there being some contention though. A lot of people said he's in fact the strongest as he's beaten Puds many times over in other comps. But the title is the title and I wouldn't like to argue with him Lol! :D ;)

news about simon
Really sorry to hear this. :( Spoken to Si many times now on the phone and but haven't yet had the good fortune to meet and buy him a drink in person. All the very best mate to you and your family mate, I've got my fingers firmly crossed that you're over the worst of it and that you're now on the road to recovery. Leigh

candy apple red or blue?
Candies are great colours but blue and red have been done a lot. I'm in the same boat at the moment as I'm having a full bare metal respray after the custom work is finished in the New Year. Personally I'm leaning towards a black base followed by many layers of very dark red/purple candy to achieve a finish that has a lot of depth. Speak to Steve at Bodywork Plus (his number is on here in the Traders section). Not only does he use the cutting edge American ALSA paints, but he can also get hold of any colour in the TVR or Lamborghini range which may change your mind re colour choices. Plus he and his team have just moved into a huge new, fully equipped, hi-tech premises, possibly one of the biggest in the UK, located just off the M5 near Junction 2. HTH, Leigh.

What bumper/kit is this??
Nice to know. Definately an amalgamation of those two kits though (with a soupcon of 99 spec for good measure) ;)
-
What bumper/kit is this??
BTW, in my bodykit database, these are the only 2 Do_Luck examples I have on file:

What bumper/kit is this??
Well if it is the Do Luck kit they've taken the Evolution valance and Veilside EC1 bumper to create a new mould (and modified the lights): Evolution Signature front valance: Veilside EC1 front bumper:

What bumper/kit is this??
Looks like an Evolution Signature lower valance grafted onto one of the Veilside front ends to me.

How's ya Christmas Day been???
It was tongue in cheek (note the smilies) but as my old grammy used to say, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all (particularly on a day like today...and let's face it, it's not like we don't already know how you feel...you've already bored us all to death ad nauseum with your dislike of this holiday season)...so I'll stick with directing it at you, if it's all the same. ;) But today's not the day for warring, have another drink, relax and "try" to enjoy yourself, you'll live longer. ;)

Washer jet removal
Filling is no problem with holes that size (you can bond some mesh behind it and use that as a base if you "really want to be extra careful). As Daz says, it's up to the bodyshop so don't worry too much about it :)

How's ya Christmas Day been???
Please. For once. And I say this with the best of intentions and goodwill in my heart... SHUT THE F*CK UP! Cheers! And Merry Christmas! ;)

My girl rocks!
LMAO! Now there's a niche market if ever I heard one! Rob, for once, this is one machine that is perfect just as it is ;) (BTW, Merry Xmas to you, Wendy and the kids! Hope you've all had a great day! :D) Just put it through my 25th anniversary Laney...Christ I love this guitar! :D

My girl rocks!
I'm not joking, I wept some (manly) tears after I unwrapped it...;) :D Got studio time booked in Jan and Feb so there will definately be some tunes to follow! Woo-hoo! :D Leigh (now very glad he went to town on his girlfriends presents instead of buying her bath soap...;))

My girl rocks!
Best. Christmas. Present. Ever. :D I've been harping on about a certain guitar for most of my teenage and adult life. I've even mentioned it on here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=84887 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=78810 Never thought I'd own one. Until this morning. Lucie hands me three presents, each labelled "1", "2", and"3", all clues as to what she's got me. First one is Tenacious D's "Pick of Destiny" CD (Oh yes! You know it, you feel it... :D ;)). I am none the wiser. The second: Jack Black in "School of Rock" inscribed with the message "Play Me: Scene 6, 23:59". Suffice to say he's holding a certain something. After watching it I now have a strong feeling but trying to supress it in case it's wrong! Third gift: A zip bag full of Gibson products...she brings out a very guitar shaped package...Oh. My. Ladies and Gentlemen, my very own, Gibson SG Special in translucent Black.... In my eyes, with guitars, it doesn't get better than this. I am so lucky. What a gal! (My girlfriend rather than the guitar :D ;)) Although I've been in touch already, once again, BIG THANKS to my best mate JD for helping arrange it through his folks' music shop and to his bro for bringing it all the way down from Scotland to save on delivery! I can type, but I guarantee I'm speechless...   :D Leigh
