If you are quitting Mac, good luck to you fella. I've quit for Lent (not that I'm religious or 'owt!) and it's proving difficult as hell. I've got a good friend who's been on various SSRI's and other mood altering meds from an early age. They seem to work very well for him, but he has to be sensible with alcohol. Which, unfortunately, on occassion he ain't. Thankfully he's come through ok to date, with only some shocking but also very funny (in a black-comedy kinda way) stories to show for it! :rolleyes: :) Leigh

Can't understand why people seem to go mad for the '99 spec :confused: I think both front ends suit the car but TBH I think there's loads of room for improvement to be made on each. Leigh.

Would get this done in an instant if it wasn't for the fact that I'm not (as yet!;)) convinced that the handling with air bags would be up to scratch. I've got a very good set up at the mo and wouldn't want to part with it (even to finally save my front-end from the dreaded speed-bumps and be able to fit a kit without fear of it getting trashed) unless the replacement was half decent. Like Smithy and Luke I'd be very interested to hear how the system copes when subjected to some hard driving through the twisties! Leigh.

Mine's been disabled as IMHO it does have a detrimental effect on the handling . I don't get my kicks from hitting the highest top-speed possible, I'm not into building a straight-line monster. The most fun I get out of my car is when I'm throwing it round the twisties, and with the HICAS on, the back-end is just unerving, way too light and "floaty" when you're going into a corner at speed. That feeling is why it had to go! With it disabled the car feels much more under control. Leigh.

Thanks for posting that John, both fingers and brain are only just about thawed out after today! Just to echo what Johns said, if anyone can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated as we've definately reached the tearing hair out with frustration stage! Cheers, Leigh.

Theres a guy with a black Zed that lives down the road, Hall Green way that surfaced on the forum a few months back (I emailed him to say hi and welcome aboard), also a charcoal grey Zed flashed his lights and gave me the thumbs up when I was driving through Sparkhill, and I keep seeing a red Zed when I'm out and about locally! Getting common round my way! :eek: :D Leigh.

Newera imports. Top quality service from Miguel the main man in Japan and top quality cars (if a little on the pricey side). Check out their website, it's very thorough and informative. Like I said, Miguel is excellent and really knows his stuff, made the entire experience of importing my own Zed an easy one. My only gripe is that the British end of the operation was , IMHO, lacking in comparison with the work Miguel put in, but that's only a small negative point.
