  1. sorry hun for the misguided info. You need to put the cd rom in and start the set up, before you connect the router, the pc has to discover new hardware during cd rom set up, i could be wrong again lol.... but its easier to do when you are sat in front of it, cos there are several avenues to go down to see where the problem lies, alternatively you could ask the pc shop you got your new toys from to set it up for you, as you have spent a few quid with them and play the damsel in distress card. If you were blonde you could play the dumb blonde card, that always works on me..lol as im a sucker for helping the ladies.... anyway getting off topic now, hope you get it sorted, there is nothing more frustrating than buying something that isnt playing ball.
  2. Hi Athene You need to set up your internet access password and user name on your router before it will connect to the internet, you need to get into the settings on the router via your desk top then set up the wireless connection through the router. Hope this helps, have a great xmas and new year. Graham
  3. depends on the switch, i bought a round rocker switch with led on it, I think prong 3 is 12v feed, 2 is power to the light and 1 is ground. If that doesnt work then try 1 and 3 the other way round, the middle prong is the feed to the rear fog light tho. Hope you sort it bud
  4. I have the same problem with mine, it needs the X mixer pipe in the middle after the cats to stop the drone inside the car, it is annoying, especially at night
  5. I originally put some red lighting gel in the lense with the normal bulb and then put in the led, forgot to take the gel out but mine still passed the mot, could be down to the individual tester and what mood he's in on the day lol
  6. I just got them from an auto parts shop on the island, but halfrauds should also do them, i can stick it on the hover for you to pick up at southsea if you fancy the ride down
  7. Hi Chris there is only 1 bulb holder in the reverse lights, unless you gonna do both sides. I bought a red led bulb, so looks white when not on, its a bit of a tight fit but works well, i have a spare if you want it as they came in a pair. Pm you address and i will try to get it to you before crimbo post gets too bad. Graham
  8. Sorry to hear about that marco, nice clean car aswell, at least you were not hurt apart from needing clean underpants. Just think, all the way to Holland, a drive around the new forest without incident and a bloody hampshire roundabout bites you in the butt. Hope you get it sorted, i wouldnt break it in my opinion, have a good xmas mate. Graham
  9. Just got up after being awake for nearly 2 days, but i'm glad i went to the meet, the weather started off pretty badly, but with everyone in such good spirits it was worth it. Being my first meet, i didnt know what to expect, but a great bunch of people from all walks of life with great cars. It amazes me how you can put a bunch o zeds together and they all have their own character and differences, but in convoy they all look superb, these cars definitley have the wow factor especially in the flesh. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and especially chewie(Mick) and tulip (Trish)who travelled all the way from Irleand, who have that Irish wit and charm that cant fail to put a smile on your face, in fact with the weather the way it was in the morning i was in 2 minds whether to go or not as the ferry could have been cancelled at any time due to gale force winds, but in the back of my mind was the thought that if our friends from Irleand can make the effort, then i'm bloody sure i'm going to go. Fook me sounds like im writing a novel.......... Anyway nice to meet you all, looking forward to the next meet and thanks Paul(300_zedx) for the trim end cap for my car, And finally nice to have some fellow smokers to talk to in the pissing rain lol Cheers Graham
  10. I dont think so as the spacer would have to be behind the disc, I'm still waiting for the suppliers to source them and get back to me, if all else fails i will have to get some TT calipers and get them to send me the discs they originally sent me 280x30mm.
  11. Cheers Guinnal, But thats where it gets spooky. The first discs i received were 280x30 with offset 54mm which is the 24.6mm. The replacements were 280x26mm offset 59mm which is the 29.6mm from disc to bell, but i need 280x26mm with offset of 54mm for my N/A with 26mm ally calipers, it seems a strange combination for the year,
  12. Thanks Athene, i got them from (Paul) 300zedx, I'm still deciding whether to go for black back lights to follow the yellow and black theme or the clears, the indicators on the new '99 spec front bumper has tinted lenses, i might have to try a photoshop to see. You will see the car in the flesh next sunday Cheers Graham
  13. Is that available to buy seperately or is it only available as part of the decat package?
  14. Let me clear this up, I bought the discs from CRN ltd from Lancashire from their add on fleabay for mintex pads and discs for 300zx. I got a guy who runs a local garage on the isle of wight to fit them, he did not supply the discs, i did, so obviously the labour for doing it twice is incurred. Why didnt i fit them myself... I could quite easily, but the weather has been shite and i can either do it on my drive or in the road and just wanted them done to be honest, i dont mind paying. As far as the calipers go it is a strange one but the guy fits brakes and zorsts all day long im sure he would know if the pistons were not in far enough, i will take some pics to clarify
  15. Decat downpipes from 2fast2cool from ebay £129 which most of you will know, the back boxes i got for £49 each, thought i would experiment with a universal and if it didnt work then not much money wasted. They neede a bit of modding but sound great, the only problem with decatting and virtually straight through exhaust is the noise inside the car, sounds throaty outside without being too offensive, but on a long trip will do your head in.
  16. Its a '93 K reg so might be early '93 with the old specs
  17. Well i got my new wheels on and just had the decats and cat backs fitted, the zorst looks sexy, you wont believe what i paid for them, i might tell you later if pushed, it sounds amazing but........ you guessed it. Too loud inside the car, so any suggestions? I know i've left myself wide open here...lol I will put some pics up later today after the car is cleaned Didnt clean it, wanted to get the pics up lol
  18. Cheers smithy, i should have just got them from the likes of you instead of messing around, in fairness the discs and pads were only £119 from crn ltd so thought i was getting a good deal, but after paying for the discs to be removed and replaced twice it has no longer been a cheap venture. So the offset of the bell, is it different with the 280x30 and 280x26 or is it down to the year? cheers Graham
  19. Im seriously hacked off, twice now the car has been in the garage for brake discs and the wrong discs sent again, what is wrong with people. I bought front mintex discs for my '93 lwb N/A 280x30, calipers fit over but pads wouldnt, so ok sent them back and got them exchanged for the 280x26, sorted........NOT :headvswal the offset of the bell part of the disc is 30mm, apparently needs to be 25mm, why would this be different? i thought the hubs were the same on all models, obviously not. The supplier has gone to scratch his head to try and find the right ones. Has anyone else had the same problem.. I have looked through the threads and this particular querie doesnt seem to be listed. Cheers
  20. Depends on the age of the battery, some are only garaunteed for a year, some 3 years, you could have a naff battery with dead cells, i just had the same problem with my 05 iveco, not being run enough during daylight hours and cold nights can kill a duff battery, just a thought
  21. Cheers Athene, looking forward to it, There are loads of zeds in the south and central area, so come on guys get your name down.
  22. Hi guys, as no-one has added to this thread i was just wondering if the meet is still going ahead. Cheers Graham
  23. You will get nothing at 40 degrees until the engine temp has reached 40 degrees, you need to set it to a lower temp first as the flap will not open till it has reached the temp set. I set mine at about 20deg then build up in steps, doesn't take long.
  24. cheers guys It is a relief now its done, it flew through the emissions even with a knackered cat, just goes to show, the zed dont need no cats. A big thank you to Paul(300_zedx) for the alloys they look the nuts and i cant wait to get them on the car, nice talking to you and thanks for driving them almost half way, much appreciated, i look forward to meeting you again at the xmas gathering. cheers Graham
  25. :hyper: She passed, only needed a steering gaitor, which is done. I thought it would need new front brake discs, as they were scored, but luckily it went through without. Just as well as the discs i was sent were the wrong thickness, so they couldnt be fitted, so it will have to go in later in the week for them. Im coming up in a few hours Paul for the Wheels, i will ring when im on my way, looking forwars to meeting you. Cheers Graham
