  1. Hi Marco, glad to see you getting your car back up together. Is there a difference in centre console size to the 2+2 and swb? i thought they would be the same, as the centre console ends at the same point, i could be wrong tho, i will measure mine when i get it back tommorrow. cheers Graham
  2. One step ahead of you there, Ive already asked the question, just waiting for the response, I did say there would be a lot of interest so hopefully, get a good price for a large order. Ill keep you informed
  3. I sent it off to new malden, i think that is where his designer is but i got it virtually next day. And i agree i tried retrimming it with black suede to match the other panels ive done but getting the corners right was a bit of a bind, so i thought i would go for leather to match the seats. It is great quality

  5. I recently bought a leather handbrake gaitor from ebay and really pleased with how it looks, italian leather, nice and soft and smells great. Just on the offchance, i phoned the guy for a centre console armrest cover, he did them but needed a template for the z32 lid, so i sent him mine and he has done it for free, as he needed a template. Its double stitched and looks the biz, its up on ebay now if anyone is interested, really cheap.... dont be put off by the low price tho, it is top quality.
  6. I found W5 leds by far the best for the dash, there are 5 leds in a cluster which scatter the light more evenly, got them off ebay, any color available but i have blue as i did the whole led conversion.
  7. Iv'e just fitted de-cats and de-cat back system, takes longer to get the old zorst off than putting the new one on, the holes in the cat pipes your talking about are the Air intakes, to cool the cats, you wont need these and they can be bypassed. The de-cat pipes i got dont have the holes in and as far as the heat sensor cable for the cats go you can cut them off or push them back up into the car. My car passed the mot with a knackered cat, so may pass without the cats anyway. Hope this helps Graham
  8. you need to be travelling at about 40 -45mph before it engages
  9. Thats interesting, as i bought a pair of mirrors off ebay, as my drivers side wont fold cos the metal bracket which retracts is cracked, they have "A" on them and a totally different connector, to the ones you have photographed. Hope someone can shed some light
  10. Dry joint after all, glad you got it sorted Lee.
  11. Not my cup of tea as im a levinson blade man, but for a couple hundred quid, gotta be worth it, the wilkinson-esk trem with tuners, a good locking trem system would cost you that. The inlay on the neck would tell you that they have taken some care with the set up... go for it
  12. Anytime.. Just a little tip on fitting, make sure you secure the little box, either cable tie or velcro glue gun etc.. if its left just sitting behind the dash, it will move about a bit with driving around and with the added movement or banging around, can dislodge a wire or one of the components inside the box which would eventually cause failure..
  13. yeah no probs
  14. If its the little black box converter then its for either as it just converts the voltage/ohms
  15. are you talking about a chip for the ecu? the problem is More likely behind the dash
  16. You cant really see a dry joint, its usually in the make up of the solder ie: internal make up of the flux. The convertor is really easy to fit, and the convertor is available for about £20 buy it now on ebay. If there is a convertor fitted already then check the point where it has been spliced to the speedo wire. You can do a search for speedo convertor which will show the wiring Hope this helps
  17. I had the same problem, occasionally gave the top of the dash a bang and it would work. Usually a dry joint, but after fitting a new kph to mph convertor, never had a problem

  19. nexusperformance.co.uk probably the crank seals but he would probably replace them anyway as part of the cambelt replacement
  20. Speak to Scott at nexus performance,he's in south end -on- sea ,he is going to do mine, also going to replace everything that the 60k service requires while most of the bits are out of the way. I think it was roughly £350 but i wanted some extra bits done too, he has zeds of his own and knows his stuff. All the best Graham
  21. Ive done the door windows and didnt take too long, there should be some info on the subject if you search, But to simplify-ish: you need to take the door trim off, lets assume you've got that far, seat belt off if a jap import, ie: on the door. There is a blanking gromit on the top of the pillar on the outside of the door, this gives you access to the bolt and screw you will need to remove the top trim cover of the door where the seatbelt bolt goes through. You have to take the window stops out which is basically 2 bolts that sit at the top of the inner door, in line with the glass runners try not to drop them inside the door, also remove the plastic trim which the rear of the windows guide sits in on the outer part of the door ,( there are plastic clips holding this in place, so be careful not to yank it off, otherwise bye bye clips) you will need to make sure that the window is down to remove the 2 bolts which hold the glass, this is done with access at the bottom of the door cutouts, you will see what i mean when the door trim is off, so have the window controls handy to plug back in if you havent already opened the window. To get the glass out you need to have it at an angle, so wing mirror end down a bit to lift the back of the glass out of its guide, a bit of wiggling and it will come out, putting the new one back is the reverse process, just remember there are 3 guide discs on the glass, just make sure they are seated in the runners, they should slot straight back in. the window motor is also visible when you take the door trim off. I hope this helps, if there isnt a proper write up available then i could do a more thorough explanation with pics. all the best Graham

  23. Dubai is one of the most cosmopolitan and most spectacular places on earth. The arabs love everything american and flashy but dont want to admit it. Dubai is luxurious and the hotels are beyond any 5star you will get in most of the world. You will love it, gold is cheap, food is great and they like to party. Enjoy
