Side light help please
The light control box is in the rear drivers panel on a sliding plastic clip, behind the light cluster its possible that something may have blown on the small circuit board, but it only controls the rear lights. The Time control unt in the drivers footwell panel before the fuse box can cause problems if there is a track burnt out. Have you had each of the fuses out to take a look, cos sometimes they look fine from the top, but as the filament in the fuse is in a U shape it tend to go in the bottom of the U.

Side light help please
You may have shorted something and blown a fuse, in the drivers footwell if youve lost all lights. I would trace the wire that comes from the fog light to the switch, use a new feed (power) to the switch and ground it. So looking at the back of the switch, you should have 3 terminals, top one will be ground, middle to the fog and bottom live feed. I would disconnect the switch before changing the fuse, incase it blows again, it seems like the fog has taken its feed from the light supply, youve had a short and its blown the fuse for the lights. You can take a live feed from anywhere, doesnt have to be from the light circuit, as long as you have it from at least a 10amp fuse supply. HTH Graham

Side light help please
What have you taken your feed from, its sounds like you have something shorting. Take it back to when you started, disconnect to what ever you connected the fog feed to and see if it cures the problem.

Front brake pads for J-spec N/A
Cheapest, mintex about £23 from ebay or one of our traders, but they leave alot of brake dust and dont tend to last as long as more expensive pads, especially on an auto. Im on my second set of mintex in less than a year and now my discs need changing again.

Thicker oil perhaps
Everday murt, i know its on its way, as i say im not too bothered i have a spare in the garage that could just go straight in , but while its there i want to put new gaskets and bits on and anything else that makes sense to do with it on a stand. I dont think its going to blow up or anything, just would like it a bit quieter until im ready. I want to change the engine when im ready, rather than having to lol

we might be veering away slightly from the original topic, but the behaviour today stems from upbringing

Political brawl....literally!
I agree kids shouldnt be belted, what im saying is it was a deterrent for me not to misbehave, we had the cane or the ruler on the back of the hand at school and yes i had some of that too and again you learn to behave in an appropriate manner. School teachers are not allowed to administer any form of corporal punishment on a child at school, its now assault. Kids know they are untouchable and can afford to act up with no fear of reprisal, not all kids these days are raised right and i think some parents give up trying if they wont listen, bad parenting, maybe, but its the attitude that has been created due to rules and regulation etc brought in by........ the government. Even if kids are raised right, there will still be a time that a back hander is needed on some occasion at some point in their childhood. I dont mean a punch in the face, but i dont see a slap on the legs as going too far to get a point across.

Political brawl....literally!
The point im trying to make here, is that, lets say when i was younger and i did wrong, i got the belt, i soon learned that i didnt like the pain so stopped being an arse and grew up a law abiding citizen that didnt get into trouble and had respect for my elders. Although the woman shouldnt have slapped her childs legs in the street, your child can report you know for being hit, doesnt matter where you are. In the past it was part of growing up, now its illegal. Thanks to the government.

There you go, she deserved it, which is why she will now probably never punish her child for any wrong doing and it will grow up to be a mouthy ignorant little tike that this society has spawned so well and wont fear the law or parents, no reprisal. your are quite right, time and a place

Appropriate use of force is fine in certain situations, but we are talking about the attitudes of our younger generation. For example: My other half witnesses a woman slap her child on the back of the legs for being naughty, she got reported and arrested. The child now knows it can get away with murder, because it cant be touched. That has nothing to do with us as a generation, but a law passed by government

I dont necessarily think its our generation as such, more like the government. They have bought in hundreds of new laws and by laws which ties our hands

I dont think violence is the answer, unfortunately Britain's softly softly approach on younger society has not instilled any deterrent or common sense. It stems back to schooling where no punishment is allowed, parent not allowed to smack their child, i could go on and on, you know where im going with this. We need to be allowed to be more firm with the kids as they are growing up to prevent such behavior in later life. Unfortunately its too late with this generation coming up

I agree, rightly so, the BNP candidate is supposedly representing a party wanting to run the country, so he should know better and have self control

Political brawl....literally!
I want to keep it open, its good to have a discussion, but it needs to stay friendly. Everyone will have an opinion that differs from others and some will be venting their feelings. But it cannot turn into anything more, we will not tolerate racism or condone violence, especially amongst our members.

I think you have taken stellas comments out of context, we all know there are many nationalities in this country who contribute greatly to business and society, there is of course the minority faction, but that applies to all of us, the case of illegal immigrants is a government mistake, being too soft. We tolerate far too much in Britain and its crippled the country. Ive been to many places in the world, Dubai, Pakistan, Beruit, Greenland and most of Europe and there is no way on earth in some of those countries you would get away half of whats allowed to happen here. Im not going to say any more on the subject as this is not the place and i dont want to start anything that could be misconstrued. Lets just say they were both wrong in their actions..... Thank you, i love you all :winkiss:

If someone spat at me, i wouldnt just stand there or walk away. In law we are told to walk away from trouble or if someone hits you to walk away, how can you. It has nothing to do with pride, its a form of assault, but to get back to the story, if one of the Asian guys was on his own, there wouldnt have been any trouble, its like any gang type warfare, bravery in numbers. You can read into the situation as seen with several scenario's but as mentioned, i think the clip has been edited to cause the biggest reaction. The whole situation almost seems orchestrated to inflame a reaction in one way or another. In essence it shouldnt have happened or been broadcast.
