  1. It makes a difference already and should be spot on once the interior panels are back in.
  2. I bought a roll 52sq ft, for about £50 from ebay. Its like a bitumen base with the reflective surface, you peel off the backing and stick it on, use a wallpaper seam roller to get out as many air bubbles as you can, and if you need it use a hairdryer to help make the material more supple, however been fine doing it in this heat lol
  3. Your right it wont be seen when its all finished, im covering everything i can see and then moving onto the cabin. Ive done under the rear seat and up to the B pillar, might even do the roof sections. Im also doing inside the door outer panel as well as the inside door panel, i want it to sound as solid and quiet inside as i can.
  4. Nearly finished soundproofing half the car, doesnt look pretty, but should do its job. I started off with larger pieces, but ended up being a nightmare in places to mould to the panels properly, so ended up cutting smaller squares and strips.
  5. Put up some pics of what your having issues with, will be easier to see whats happened.
  6. :happybday: All the best mark, enjoy :happybday:

  9. You live in the middle of nowhere lol, im surprised you see anyone driving anything :lol:
  10. The prop could need turning 180 deg if its out of balance slightly, or i would get the rear wheels balanced and tracking done.
  11. :happybday: Have a great day :happybday:
  12. Optional: water pump, tensioner pulleys. If you are taking the plenum off, then water bypass, EGR delete, plenum gasket, Rocker covers: exhaust covers dont have a gasket use liquid gasket or similar as they tend to be the culprits for oil leaks over a period of time, intake covers have rubber gaskets and half moons at the rear of the heads. Speak to mike (Mr F)about your plans and he will advise you what you will need.
  13. Its a not very well hidden pager unit for the alarm :turned:

  18. Idle air control valve http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.337 Check the numbers and list in the left hand column and follow along to the relevent unit
  19. They will physically fit but you will have a hole on the inside upright where the lever is to move the seat back forward, holes where the manual controls were but will be hidden so not a problem and you will need to make a hole for the lumbar adjuster apart from that should be fine. What seat material have you got?
  20. The det sensor only has 2 wires, one is a screen which doesnt actually terminate to the det sensor on the block, the other is the signal from the sensor. Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak somewhere or check the terminals on the temp sensor, although you are getting code 55 you still might have an intermittent reading from the temp sensor which is making it run rough. Getting it plugged into conzult will give you a clearer idea of whats amiss.
  21. You should be able to see the EGR under the rear water pipes that go through the bulkhead. Yes the det sensor wire is in the middle. The sensor itself is set back a little on the block, you wont be able to see the sensor, but should see the wire unless its been removed.
  22. :happybday: have a great day :happybday:
  23. Mines a none turbo lol, so were a bugger from the manifold
  24. They are a bugger to drill out, took me a dozen drill bits and a couple of hours to get one out.
