  1. :happybday: all the best Al, hope you have a great day :happybday:
  2. And we get accused of over moderating lol
  3. Ive seen this before and they used spacers ( square) either side of the bush/lump to even out the load when bolts are tightened, so it then sits flat to the front frame.
  4. :happybday: All the best, have a great day :happybday:
  5. :happybday: Have a great day :happybday:
  6. Great game, but i had to cheat in the end lol
  7. Looking nice there Ash, i have to say though that you may need to rotate the rear 501 leds as your temp and fuel gauge are not lit as they should be. The extra led strips inside the dash are wired to the bottom 2 screws so light anyway, i have a feeling that although bench tested, the 4 501 leds in the rear may need turning 180deg, then it will be spot on lol
  8. Do an auto box diagnostic, follow this and it will flash up the codes http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128846
  9. Wow, sounds like a nice car, cant wait to see the pics.
  10. Welcome to the club, If its a jap you can fold the mirrors via the switch, if its UK, fold by hand, but should get rid of a a few inches each side sticking out lol.
  11. :whistling: glad you got it sorted :winkiss:
  12. Does your rear wiper work? if the motor has gone for the front one, swap the water pipes over or T them together to get you through the MOT till you can get anoterh one sorted. Both motors are on the same washer bottle. Just to check, make sure the connectors in the rear of the pod are fully home.
  13. Taking it to Jeff at zedworld will be good for your peace of mind, he will stick it on consult, which will show any problems with the timing etc. The first thing to check is the temp sensor on the rad intake pipe, you have one to the ecu and one for the gauge, usually green corrosion on the terminals will affect the running. Its worth checking all the connectors and clean, i usually use some electrical grease ( dielectric) in the terminals of the plug and socket, which will keep out moisture and help prevent future corrosion build up. Check out these links which will help. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=126853 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=151304 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135196
  14. I have stuck my full size UK plate on with some number plate double sided tape stuff, very strong too.
  15. You can get the jap spec number plate at any motor factors, easier too if you give them the measurement of the rear plate. I dont think the sticker type is illegal, there are a few car makes on the road that have this, but im not a fan of them personally. Im sticking with my full size front number plate as i like to know i can drive around to my hearts content without fear of getting a fine for something so trivial lol
  16. :happybday: all the best Vig, have a great day :happybday:
  17. Hi Lee, the ebay link that was removed, regardless of intention, as it is advertising for a banned member. By all means posting pics of the car is fine as long as there are no company logo or specific link to the sale of the car. And to clarify is against AUP
  18. Nothing wrong with showing pics of the car, but not with the banned members ebay link/name or any advertisement associated with it please, we dont just edit or pull threads without good reason. Cheers Graham
  19. Its a female crimp pin with a shroud/insulator on it, you might be able to re use the shroud and get the pins http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1930
  20. You can buy a good leather kit from the zcentre, stitched in the right places and fit yourself for around £300 or there are kits available on ebay, not stitched but cut to size, again fit yourself. Its not that hard to diy, but you will save alot of money that way. There might even be a member in your area willing to help.
  21. You can also cut to fit, the door window trim as it has the same profile.
  22. In the faq section :mellow:http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi
  23. So sorry to hear this Dan, devastating news at the best of times let alone someone so close, at least now she is out of the pain and at rest with another loved one...
  24. Welcome back the to the yellow side  you know it makes sense
