  1. True bud, but look at the cost of a respray by a garage probably £1k for a blow over. At least once you have all the gear you can take your time, do other projects, engine bits etc and have a compressor for air tools, so initial outlay has benefits. I built most of my gear up over a few months rather than spend a chunk in one go, less painful that way lol. Also remember you could spend that on rattle cans to do the whole car, so actually a good price for a better finish.

I think youve got Mikey Bean and Hollowpoint coming down from Doncaster, so not too far from you.
  3. She looks just like you Lee, except her hair will grow lol. Congrats to you both, glad it all went well
  4. Could be a combination of the FICD, an air lock in the PS creating more pressure on one side of the rack, or the PS sensor connection on the rack, although i would have thought that sensor would effect the steering as a whole. When you turn the steering, especially noticeable at stand still, the revs of the engine raise to compensate for the power drain. If you have corroded connections or gunked up Fast idle control device, this may cause the problem. I would give Jeff a PM, he is bound to know as he deals with these cars day in day out.
  5. Its an N/A Jim, but the tyre has worn evenly across the thread.
  6. Too much hassle lol, you dont know that the dog does all the hard work  He is huge now, i bet the food bill aint small either lol
  7. New shocks and eibach springs, but i do feel a bit of skipping out now and again. Ive got some adjustable lower arms to go on yet, which might help.
  8. Falkens are a good middle quality tyre, i have got Nexen on the fronts and i have to say very grippy and the tread has lasted longer than my Falkens. They are both similar prices, although i did get the Nexen at £98 per tyre.
  9. Something a little different in the colour schemes, i think it looks nice, but not to everyones taste,
  10. Bloody hell, what a year for you mate, im sure you will get it sorted, but in time for JAE? If not we still hope to see you there, keep us informed of progress.
  11. :happybday: All the best on your Birthday :happybday:
  12. :happybday: All the best Al, have a great day :happybday:
  13. I think you are both on the money, theres not really alot else that it could be. Since fitting another prop bearing and having vibration from it, the vibration may have caused the diff to fail possibly, which is a shame as im fitting a one piece prop this week, sods law eh.
  14. Cheers Gaz, never even thought about the diff. And Ian, i just new someone would say that lol, i said to my mate who spotted it, that im going to have to do more left turns to wear the other side down :cowboy:
  15. I have Falken tyres on the rear and both were new at the same time, i had all the tracking balancing and set up done while having new front tyres fitted, but i noticed today that my rear left tyre is nearly illegal, while my drivers rear still has a good amount of tread. Now the worn tyre has worn evenly over the tread of the tyre inside to out, so what i cant understand is how one tyre on the same axle can wear (evenly) and the other side virtually untouched in comparison. I drive it fairly modestly and dont go ragging round corners. Any ideas?
  16. All the best to you both Lee, hope she's not in labour too long, she will make your life hell :w00t::lol::lol:
  17. Cool, did you not try it all out in one go, or was it a no no? I was just hoping to save a few hours lol I will be taking the bumper off anyway and headlights as i want to spray the slam panel the same colour as the engine bay.
  18. Received a 7 day ban for inappropriate comments to a moderator
  19. So Ian, you didnt go down the route of engine and gearbox out in one, yet you have the subframe mounted to the new one, please enlighten me lol Im starting mine tomorrow, a day later than i had hoped, but hey ho.
  20. Im am about that week on the island if you fancy meeting up for lunch or just a meet. Graham
  21. If you dont need for a week or so, send it down to me and i will do it for you. I guess the measurements of the 2 din stereo are pretty standard. Does the screen open/slide from the bottom? Do you want satin black or gloss? Have you still got my address? I will do the inner surround slightly smaller than the stereo hole, so you can trim it exactly as you want. Cheers Graham
  22. Have a look on piston heads or auto trader, as we are a predominantly z32 site you might have more luck there or the zclub. As a registered user you are not allowed to sell it here, so please dont turn it into a for sale thread as so often these, "whats it worth" threads end up getting pulled. Cheers Graham
  23. after zooming in lol, yes looks to be the manual balance bar.
  24. N/A only has 2 vac outlets on the drivers end tube.
  25. The difference between the two are the extra vac outlets on the drivers end of the bar, for the clutch vac Manual TT Auto TT You could T off the brake servo for the clutch vac feed
