  1. I got a decent brand hard drive and DVD recorder / re-writer. The hard drive is ace - it constantly buffers the last 6 hours TV. You can pause and re-wind live TV too. The DVD recording facility is handy when you fill the hard drive up. All bases covered for 250 odd quid (and that was a year ago so they´re probably cheaper now).
  2. 14K - very nice Supra, 200SX S14 or S15, Skyline, Integra Type R. I´d go for a nicely modded 200SX or an almost new DC5 Integra if it was me. Maybe a really good Supra.
  3. Curses silenced by a newby.... although off the top of my head I heard the brakes might be different for one thing (calipers and discs). Not sure on the other details - the only trader who ever quoted me for a TT/NA transplant wanted £2000 labour to do the swap. So I'm guessing it's not simple. Still Madmodders is good for 176000 kph already so I'm sure it'll be fine. ;) Only joking really mate - good luck with the swop - you sound like you know what you're doing. Topping up the screenwash is about the limit of my ability.
  4. But only some of them. They're p1ssed off becasue Richard Gere kissed Shilpa Shetty. Some are burning effigies of him and calling for his death. Lucky he didn't stick a hamster up her arse! http://uk.reuters.com/article/peopleNews/idUKDEL22460520070417
  5. Just add and change some parts? I never realised it was that simple!
  6. Glad you're pleased with it. Converting to TT isn't as simple as dropping an engine in though I'm afraid.
  7. When I was 19/20, had a 1.0 Metro - and a GSX-R1100 too though. :duffer:
  8. The NA is a good car. But if you want a TT, buy a TT. The cost of uprating an NA to a TT is massive.
  9. Very nice mate. They are such an improvement over stock wheels.
  10. Well done mate. You must have earned it. Makes you feel really valued I should think. :)
  11. What about the 255/45-18s - anyone know if they'd be ok rather than a 265/35-18s I have at the moment on the rear?
  12. I don't know how rare it is but it's not the best looking kit out there IMHO.
  13. I'd love to be involved. Rockingham's not too far. And my car's a genuine 99 spec so it's unusual from that point of view.
  14. Cheers chaps
  15. With a multimeter on the terminals of a motorbike battery, what's the highest the voltage should read as you rev the engine if the reg/rec's working ok? Is it the same as a car? Anyone know the exact figure? I thought it was about 14.4-14.5 volts. Cheers folks!
  16. That does look very good value. I think I've got 265s on the back but I guess 255s would be ok.... I need to find out how wide my rims are i guess!
  17. The man on the left had tallent. I think the other one had learning difficulties or something though. And if you're looking up 'bukake' try google images rather than Wikipedia ;)
  18. I agree. I went to a few places with my 200SX which had rust in both sills and no-one quoted much less than £1000.
  19. I'm never sure if a garage will cut it right out or just knock it back and weld plate over... then in 2-3 years it's back worse than before. Rust killed my 200SX. Both sills rusted right through and effectively wrote it off.
  20. Get a grinder on it and cut it completely out or it'll spread.
  21. That's mother nature weeding out the weak and infirm. If we were all wildebeest, you'd have been eaten by a lion by now. I get it too mate - it's a fooking pain - especially all the sneezing.
  22. I was quoted £2K just for labour for converting an NA to a TT (not that I'd get my "connosieur's choice auto LWB NA" converted ever  ) I'd guess this would be a bigger job so cost more.....?
  23. Someonr play 'Stairway', quick!
