Buying Pirelli's P7000 - comments?
When I change tyres the new ones always seem better than the old ones. But that may be as the new ones are new and the old ones were old, not due to the brand. It's especially true on a motorbike too.

Is anyone going ?

Local Elections - June 10th
My money's on the polar bear. They're massive. Now if a polar bear was attacked by a group of baboons who went 'windmilling in' with bottles and ashtrays, that could be interesting.

Which mags do you like?
   Good point! They do have the odd 1000bhp+ skyline though. And the 'pink or brown?' bit.

We can't get free subs even (half price is the best we get). Although big bundles of all the mags appear in the post room so a few of those normally get liberated. 'Slowmass' did rather wreck your Z1000 didn't he? Didn't it have a cracked frame and knackered bores?

BMW 8 series
I must say the 840 and 850 BMWs look pretty sweet and you can get one for OK money. What do you reckon? Are they any good?

TVR Cerbera?
What was the Jag they sold from about 89 onwards, came with a V12 in one form? The sort of long one. I saw a body kitted version of that in Nottingham and damn, it looked sweet.

I always turn to inside back page first for the 'pink or brown' question. Don't tell Mrs David though! Max is a top mag for what it is.

Max is the biggest selling motoring mag in the country. I think they shift about 215,000 copies a month. And they say each one is read by three people so thats...three quarters of a million people! I work in the same office where it's made (EMAP Automotive). I do bike mags.

Local Elections - June 10th
Seriously though, ages ago I worked in Borneo, in the 'pristine tall pole forest' 20km upriver from Palankaraya in Central Kalimantan. I had to sleep in a big open-ended shed at night. I always kept a can of Lynx and a lighter handy. There's no animal on God's green earth, tiger, polar bear, fox or bager that likes that in their face.

What about a tiger and a polar bear? The bear is way bigger but tigers are vicious. I think it'd be close.

Foxes are pretty weak. I reckon a 12 year old could see one off. Now badgers, they're far sturdier. You wouldn't want to mess with one of those. Although if you had a broom handle you could give it something to thing about. Or a hosepipe and a car.

Remus exhausts
I think I can get some new Remus exhuasts cheap. Does anyone have a set? Are they any good? How loud are they? Will the car pass the MoT with them on? Also, they're only back boxes, so I have to rely on the rest of the standard system. What happens when the standard system rusts through? Do I have to buy a replacement Nissan system? How long do standard Nissan systems last? Oohhh, that was a lot of questions. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Thanks for your help gents (and any ladies if there are any)

Why do people not like Car then? And by the way, there's a 300ZX in Revs this month.

The Beatles and the Stones
   Exactly. From "the Devil came down to Georgia" By the Chalie Daniels Band: 'Chicken in a bread pan pickin' out dough Granny does your dog bite ? No child, no .' It's propper bo!

Which mags do you like?
Which magazines do you like and why? I mean car and motorbike ones really but any are interesting.
-
I've just bought a 300 zx......Now what?
Cool I bought my N/A recently and I'm always thinking 'should I have got a turbo'? I think the N/A's more reliable as it's got no turbos but also as the engine bay stays cooler which prevents wiring becoming brittle which causes problems. And the N/As lighter so handles better.

The Beatles and the Stones
No-one else likes it either.
