  1. Crickey..... that is kinda far out. Each to their own I guess. I wonder what him mum will say when she sees it?
  2. That show rules! Especially 'Stepping Stones' and 'High Rollers'. Love the Japanese too! Great, crazy folk.
  3. I think 50/50 coolant with distilled or de-ionised water is best. Better than 100% coolant. Dunno what volume I'm afraid. On a bike, I squeeze the thick rubber hoses as I fill the system to get rid of air locks.
  4. They told me all sorts of marvellous things at Halfords including it'd leak out less so pressure would remain constant and it'd expand less when hot. Personally I wouldn't bother again. I guess if you were racing it might be worthwhile but I dunno.
  5. Halfords fold me some 'special air' for my 200SX when they serviced it once. It was £1 a wheel. I didn't notice any difference. I think it was mainly nitrogen.
  6. The TV in the console looks kinda cool. But no way does it look like a Lambo.
  7. I'd say Jap Performance and Banzai would be best. Evo is great and sells well but it's too general. http://www.abc.org.uk is the site of the Audit Beaurea of Circulation which gives ideas how many mags sell but I think you have to pay for the info.
  8. Any ideas of anything worth putting on the seals to stop them leaking if they're ok now?
  9. When I was despatch riding round London years ago some geezer had an ex-police motorbike (BMW) for despatching too. He had put stripes like the police on it and had 'POLItE' on the fairing so it looked like 'POLICE'. I think the old bill had a 'quiet word' and he had to change it.
  10. http://www.nissan-global.com/GCC/Japan/NEWS/257a.htm There must be year 2000 Type-R models out there somewhere!
  11. I have a 1999 (N/A). It's got a few different bits and bobs to earlier cars and I think the chassis is a little stiffer too. *That latest series of "Bo Selecta" was rubbish! Can I change my name? This week I'm mostly obsessed with Newport rap act, Goldie Lookin Chain, so something along those lines could be good.
  12. I have a NA and I'm happy with it (I've driven a TT and plenty of fast motorbikes). But rather than buying a NA with the plan to tune it and make it as fast as a TT, I'd say just buy the TT, if that's what you're after. It'll be easier / cheaper. Some would say the NA is a little bit more reliable than a TT in the long run.
  13. People buy Porsche Cayennes which are heavier, more expensive to maintain and uuuuggglllyyy!
  14. From the title I thought this was going to about getting revenge on women. Apparently if you use a birch branch no thicker than your thumb, it's not illegal. "A woman, a dog and a walnut tree, the more you beat them the better they be." That's what Dave who sits next to me says, anyway.
  15. You can get the same engine in the 620Ti and they are cheap as they don't have the wide-boy / chav follwing.
  16. I did see the original clip but it was a while ago now. I don't know a lot about missiles.... I could be wrong. I was asking really, not putting forward a definite view (and I guess you were answering me, so that's cool!)
  17. True But it has been bombed, it does need rebuilding and that poor guy was just there to help (I think???). Didn't / don't mean any offence!
  18. I dunno if you can just put a TT engine in an NA. I think other stuff (gearbox, brakes etc) are different too. People have done it but there may be more to do that just swop engines.
  19. Has anything ever happened in the past if angry threads do go unchecked?
  20. By the law of averages, someone (or more) on here actually is gay. Not me though! I'm engaged to Mrs Craig David. That said, the 300 is a pretty much "man's car" so maybe there are no fruits here after all.
  21. Surely if it was a missile, people would have seen it and more would say it was a missile??? Do missiles go through walls? We've never seen damage like that from a western missile... although I guess it could be ex soviet.
  22. I thought they were full of nubile surfer chicks with foot long spliffs and liberal but well informed attitues to sex. Maybe that's just in me dreams and it's all unwashed blokes, rust and pop rivets.
  23. How come caravans are so uncool but VW campers are cool?? :hyper:
  24. Has anyone had an auto gearbox go on an N/A?
  25. "Quicker, easier... more seductive... Turn you will" (Yoda)
