  1. Would you fancy a BMW 8 series? You can get late ones for around £20K. I like everything about the XKR except its looks. With £20K I'd try and find a late as possible (2002?) Supra. :nelson:
  2. The XKR is a missile. Some bloke who lives near me has one it it flies! was it.... One of them new Rolls-Royce or the Bently Coupe? That Bently Coupe has to be my dream car!
  3. Number three on the back and sides, trim the top and tapered in at the neck please. Only joking! Seriously, it sounds like a good little car. I'd do the same if I could (I will be using my £500 Yamaha XTZ660 as much as possible to save the Z from the salt though!)
  4. I'm replacing my old wiper blades with new ones (Bosch). One of the new ones has an extra plastic bit, like an aerodynamic flap. Any idea which wiper it should be on (driver or passenger) and which way it should point (up windscreen or down towards bonnet) ? Or should I just lever it off with a screwdriver? Cheers
  5. Just watched again and if you haven't already, then have a look! These are the funniest thing I've seen on the net ever probably.
  6. I've made what I thought were funny posts in the past and people have got the wrong end of the stick and thought I was being rude. I've also taken other people's jokes the wrong way and got all angry. Becuase a forum is just short typed messages with little context, no facial expression or tone etc it is easy to get the wrong end of the stick. This forum's pretty relaxed and pretty much everyone here's just here for the cars / the crack.
  7. Dave I think that's "be-a-nonce-eh?" not J-Lo.
  8. I think my mate Josh from Loughborough who moved to America had one (in America)and said it was dead slow.
  9. That black one that attacks the toddler in the alley is excellent. I really laughed till my throat hurt.
  10. http://www.cameltoe.org Know the toe!
  11. Superbike actually had professional pole dancers who danced.... around poles. RiDE, BIKE and PB just had a shared stand selling subscriptions (but at a brilliant price). MCN had a whole area they sponsored. TWO had a big presence with hired in fancy women but they didn't dance around poles. I didn't even see FB.... I think they're a bit skint these days. But they could well have been there! Hey, it's all good to me, a day of camel toe spotting!
  12. I went. Superbike mag had pole dancers :hyper:
  13. Can't recommend the 300 enough. An Impreza will propbably beat it down a twisty or damp road but the 300 is so much more than fast. In my opinion it's a luxury power cruiser with sporting ability and massive tuning potential. Some say it's a supercar and maybe it is. Good ones can be very reliable. Bad ones aren't. Fuel and insurance is never that cheap. You can get 30mpg on a long careful run but much less in town or if you tune it up. This website is very heplful.
  14. Don't want to put you off though... bikes rule! I've had about 25, currently have RMX250 enduro, XTZ660, written off CB1100 X-11 and Fazer 600 (all cheapies!) and I love them. Hondas are probably the best things out there though.
  15. Gutting! Really sorry to hear that. Maybe consider keeping a copy of every piece of paper and notes & times of phone calls when making the claim.
  16. Looks like he was a massive drug addict and homo who had loads of casual sex and was on a bit of a downward spiral. Not that that's any excuse but you can kind of understand why he did it.
  17. I put my 200SX through a car wash for the last three years of my six years ownership. It never did it any harm and the paint looked mint when I sold it. I don't put my 300 through... it's just too scary sitting in there thinking "is the mirror going to rip off or something".
  18. I think its circulation might be dropping and Top Gear may outsell it now. But I could be wrong.
  19. Maybe don't learn in winter. Winter sucks on a bike.
  20. I was reading a thread about someone trying to post somone a cheque and it not getting there. The postal service is terrible near me. I've been waiting for something (un Z-related) for over a week. One girl at work only gets post about twice a week, then she gets everything for her whole street. Sometimes some of it's just dumped in the road. My neighbour says lots of his never arrives, including wage slips, credit card statements etc. Is it bad elsewhere or is it just here?
  21. Gareth You can usually tell a UK car cos it'll be riddled with rust. (only joking before the Uk-car lads give me a shoeing)
  22.  It's shiny and in quite good condition.
  23. Sod 'em Dave. They'd be jealous of my 'black wood accent' surround too if they saw it. ;-)
