  1. It's a goodprice compared to other cars - a similar age and mileage Merc C class 220 (which isn't that special) would cost about the same. There are cheaper Zeds about but yours is quite a late one with low miles so it sounds ok.
  2. Check out a thread stared on 22 November by Apache (don't know how to post a link, perhaps someone can help). Quite a few folk who've had TTs and NAs prefer the NA!
  3. Wow, that is sweet. 'God of the Pod' !!! Bet the insurance isn't cheap and don't know how suitable it is as an everyday driver though!
  4. And the 110bhp TD is amazinly quick cos of all the low down torque. Xantia, Xantia, Xantia! (obviously wouldn't have one meself though - they're French!)
  5. The late model ... MK IV. It drove up my street (going VERRRYYY SLOWLLLY over the speed bumps). It had a pretty rude bodykit, big wing, Japanese graphics, a sigle exit big-bore exhaust. It sounded sweet and I must say it looked pretty gorgeous. Am I the only person who'd secretly (ok, not secretly now) quite like a Supra? Someone tell me something bad about them to put me off them!!
  6. I think one at Billing Auqadrome in Northampton in ?late summer? is the big one.
  7. Handbrake needs adjusting, mind.
  8. I'm an ALDI man meself. You know they don't have scanners on the checkouts at ALDI... the woman just looks at your trolley and says "£36.75" (or whatever the amount it). And they get £16 an hour.
  9. Love it! I was thinking who... why.... ? Then you see the geezer and it all makes sense!
  10. You've got to let the beautiful babies know you're money and looking to party.
  11.  PMSL
  12. Live and Let Die was good ... maybe the best film too. Or Dr No. (my fave bit in Dr No is when the baddie (Blofeldt??) has an underwater fortress thing which rises up out of the sea at the press of a button. He's boasting about it and say it cost 'a meeeelion dollars' - that wouldn't buy a flat in Chelsea these days!)
  13. I bought a n/a auto 300. Plenty of folk would say that's not the best choice at all. And maybe they're right, maybe not. But I still LOVE it. Just don't get a rough one as it'll cost a sh1t load to keep going.
  14. A while ago (for work) I had to find one of those vans and try to talk to the driver and take photos. He didn't like me taking pictures of him / his van at all. But they're civilians not coppers so there was nawt he could do! Wnaker! :)
  15. Or doing some weight lifting on a beach in america in the 80s. Seriously though the article looks great - and it's good for everyone's resale value.
  16. Like it! I wrote a poem about the 300ZX. But I reckoned people here thought I was weird enough already without posting it. So I didn't.
  17. It appears Mrs Craig David may have recorded over the Bond tape so I could be wrong here.
  18. Automatic clutch needs adjusting so it engages later (and the engine will have built up more revs) ???? Maybe
  19. UK TT 300ZX is 18. The UK TT Supra MK IV is 19. Fords always seem to have high insurance groups (except the Cougar which was 14 despite sharing the ST24 engine), maybe cos they're popular with the twoccers. All Cosworths are 20.
  20. Think the ST24 is insurance group 17 which is a bit high next to the UK 300ZX TT at 18.
  21. The neighbours cat kept shyting in my garden too until I put down some chemical stuff from the garden centre. I thought 'how can I learn them?' and thought about getting bees. Imagine if they were having a BBQ or something and my 20,000 bees went over to their garden.   But don't mind really... I love animals .... especially when it's really cold. ;)
  22. Nice one, thanks lads. Any idea if should I take the door of its hinges or do it with it in place?
  23. Mrs Craig David wants a cat. Is it easy to fit a catflap? Our (terraced, estate) house is quite new and the door seems to made from metal as well as wood / wood substitute - perhaps UPVC or something like that???? A magnet sticks to it. Any idea how easy it would be to fit a cat flap?
  24. NO ONE'S GOING ANYWHERE! Now... all the money in the till and no fast moves.
  25. "Quicker...easier...more seductive"
